Cannot wait to play a more advanced code of this game with less AI pressure and more time on the ball. Gliding around the midfield and spreading the ball about with Pirlo looks and feels so bloody good:SMUG:
 
Right just given this a go and really impressed, especially considering Konami didn't want to show it off in this state.

The ball physics are spot on, the animations are brilliant. It's definitely a new engine, those concerns from people seem a bit strange playing this as its nothing like PES 2013 (I might need to try the Vanilla version of that just to make sure)

My main issues with this build are, it feels very clunky and to be fair the button delay isn't as bad as I thought but for dribbling and fluidity just isn't in this build.

hopefully those two things were improved in the 90% build and hopefully the retail gets a lot of 'little things' polished up on.

Can anyone breakdown the new Penalty System ? Is it Manual at all ? I loved the version from a few years back. I felt that had it pretty much spot on, and was surprised they changed it for the worse the following year :(

Edit - Forget that, I've just spotted the video Xavi posted. And it looks, well, kinda 'Manual-ish' I guess.

Yeah, that's good, but I would prefer to pay full-price and not seeing a single ad. Xbox Live Gold has the same problem too.

Ads are understandable if the software is Free-to Play, so you are the product.

In slide tackles the refs are ok. Quite strict

But for normal tackles they are plain and simple broken. Or just no programmed at all.

Double x tackle is cool hardly any fouls, it's just the slide, i've been sent off about 25 times. Sometimes two a game so the slide tackle has to be timed perfectly.
 
I was away from home for a couple of days and i now i feel that i must try the demo for the ps3. What should i do to try it . I mean can i download it from somewhere and pass it to the ps3 by usb? Someone help me plz.

After reading all this impressions an waiting the past 6 years for a revamp of this game i just can't wait to rey this demo out until september 11. I just can't.

couple of niggles:

am i the only one who finds the power bar way to fast and sensitive? it need to be a bit slower.AI hardly fouls and shooting on free kick could use a bit of extra curl and strengh.

those dots and game menu' belong to the 20th century btw, god knows how konami always manage to take step back here and there.

btw, the ref reminds me of that (in)famous japanese ref from the ps2 time which would send off half my team all the time..

Don't think I'm very good at the training mode. In the shooting training, I'm hitting the woodwork a hell of a lot more than I'm hitting the numbers for some reason:CONF:
 
I was kindly given a psn I'd to download the demo thanks again you know who you are! Anyway my first impressions of the gave are positive. The game looks really gorgeous on ps3 so can't wait to play it on the pc where it should be even better. We all know about the responsiveness issue so won't bore you with that. What I really love is that you can now do cross filed long balls ala pes 6 again. This is great if you like to mix things up. I think this game will be fantastic online If you get 2 players who want to play football the proper way. What also Impressed me is the movement of the computer controlled players this means your full backs and strikers make fantastic runs and they are a joy to watch. Really looking forward to the full game and at last we have a pes we can all be proud of.

I agree with that.
Just had the chance to try the build.
Dribbling and fluidity really need improvements, a lot.
Let's see next step.

Anyway hopes stay high.
