Dudu mate, great insights on the Demo. I fear Konami will speed it up and ruin the beautiful stuff they hint here.

Anyway, can you plz check your inbox, mate. Sorry.

Where has it been confirmed that the Dubai build is the final code, video from Adam is disappointing. AI seems to have trouble with simple things like maintaining ball possession.

maybe konami torned down the AI because gamescome build was too hard for 5yrs old kids :P

Not so likely. Its on two levels below the hardest. The hardest is what the unfinished demo has right? I notice the improvements, but the Def. Ai may look bad just due to difficulty.

I wouldn't be surprised if AI levels were badly balanced and everything below professional was poor. Happened before in one of the iterations where they also locked the demo to a preset difficulty.

EA has been having that creation center for ages, i don't see the issue. some guy who has the game has probably showed this year creation centre. where would the issue be?

this place is full of option files which infring every law on ip...so i wouldn't be so picky if i were u. same boat really.

konami is telling bs about stadium editor, they probably didn't have time to implement. not that i miss it, most stadia looked crap with stand 10 miles far away from pitch and looking like ww2 venues.

but this site isn't endorsed by konami as in there is no konami created equivalent of creation centre so I do think EA are wrong to allow users to share this kind of content knowing they have no legal right to do so

That's pretty shit game design, IMO. Just because you're not playing on harder difficulties, it shouldn't equate to the defenders being braindead and players being unable to hold on to the ball and make proper decisions.

The dumb, slow players reaction for L2 manual passes and through balls, and the very poor awareness of the ball when those passes are made is completetly limiting the game for me.

I hope they fix it for the next demo. The other thing that should get tweaked is L2 manual pass that could be a bit faster as the normal pass.

yup. player awareness blows, players keep totally missing the ball when it's past to them

and manual passing has many problems -- they are too slow, you can't tap circle to 'dink' it, and lobbed through ball never goes far enough. :CONF: lots of problems here...

That's right, it shouldn't, but has happened before. It's like the AI players get covered with a blanket and they do all of the stupid decisions.

Wait wait wait, didn't Lami said the Dubai code was even slower and he had to play on +2?

Did that guy play the game or is he judging it on the video we all saw?

Don't forget boys professional in pes 2013 I found the AI pretty dumb. But when I stepped up to top player the AI started to cheat in the 2nd season of my ML which really pissed me off. My ideal difficulty level is between pro and top player if they can pull that off will be great

Played the PES13 demo just yesterday on my sons PS3. From there fired up my PC and played my modded FIFA13. Dam I miss that PES feeling.

Remembered last year how I played the demo for a month straight before buying the full retail game for XBOX for 67 dollars first day of release. Nothing about the game disappointed me other than the lack of varied modes.

For as good as the gameplay is the modes have to be there to give the game longevity. No need to pre-order no need to play the demo just waiting for Steam to stop fucking around and post the hopefully 40 dollar cost.

So funny that I have over 20 games installed and the only thing I want to play is PES14.

Hi everyone, been a pes fan since ps2 days, sadly current gen hasnt been as great so iv been playing fifa for the last 2 years for my footballing fix. PES 2014 looks promising however so im going back to pes this year with hope, found this forum and very interesting to read everyone's impressions, im very optimistic for this year :)

Here's the issue, (originally from PESFAN)
ZanyBooch - Damn why not Konami just give good editor, with big database to let players to make changes. Licenses doesnt matter after that.

Please people. Vote it!!! http://forums.pesfan.com/showthread....ms-and-players

DukeGuy - I already told you why not - because allowing complete editing infringes the license agreements that EA have paid big money for.

ZanyBooch - I dont know what EAs licenses include exactly, but sounds pretty weird if they can control other games editor with that too. U got better facts from that?

DukeGuy - This is what happened. EA paid for all that lovely licensing. Konami simply added a bigger editing suite. Sites all over the world started popping up (much like this one) and users were sharing option files in order to give PES all the correct kits/names/players etc.etc.

EA got mad. Somehow, around the same time - so did the FA. Shortly after, all Premiership material on this site (and others) were removed. Konami still have the editing option available, but have to make restrictions on slots and suchlike in order to continue doing that, as they are claiming that users create their own content - rather than steal copyright and licensed images.

If EA can prove that Konami add the editing so that the users can recreate the licensed data, then that's clearly an infringement on the licenses, hence the reason why the editing is limited and has a certain amount of data slots.

To put it into an analogy, it's like aiding and abetting in a crime. Sure, Konami didn't commit the crime - but they provided the tools specifically designed to carry it out. Remember, every single time you recreate a kit, you are infringing a copyright and are liable to legal action. The reasons that you don't get your collar felt is that you are small-fry and because you aren't making any money on it. Konami aren't and they do.

A few years ago, when the FA banned premiership content - I personally emailed all the premiership teams sponsors (because the teams can't copyright the colors/pattern of a shirt, but without the advert logos, it doesn't look like a shirt) and asked for permission to use their logo in my option file that I would then distribute for free. Most got back to me and most said, 'go ahead' - one of them even asked for the option file for their own PES when it was complete. But some gave a flat-out 'no' unless I was willing to pay for it. So, this went nowhere in the end. This little story should just highlight that it's not quiet as simple as you think, there are many companies, most very big companies, that do not want people creating their logos and using them without permission. They are all tied in with the Premiership and other leagues, which have an exclusive license with EA. Every time someone circumvents the purchase of the game that's licensed as they can buy another game and make it look the same, all of the invested companies lose money. And that's not in their interest at all.

I hope that clears it up.

DukeGuy is one of the most senior member on that site, and judging from his answer he was active on modding scene too. No reason for him to lie, especially on official PES community site.

Just for the record, i'm not condoning any action to remove creation centre or any of it's content. But like somebody said, this can be a leverage for Konami to reinstate back the stadium editor and provide a better editing tools.

In that video with the guy commentating it like a real match, really impressed with the heading (Balotelli with the CPU and specially Dante's in the highlight clip). Ribery's turn was the dog's bollocks.

Here's a screenshot from EA's Creation Center:

No comment whatsoever is necessary.

We need to use this in the petition.

Hopefully this will end rightfully in the removing of ALL exclusive content licencing from Football sports games, all the contracts will have to be redone.

Hopefully we can have Fully licenced leagues, then tons of fake leagues for us to create with for both games.

No, go bigger. Konami need to use this to truly KILL all exclusive licencing in the Football World.

All companies will need to do is to pay for permission to use the clubs name, logos, kits etc.. and that it for the length of the contract.

NO exclusiveness preventing other companies form doing the same.

For PS3 users.

You know, I'd really love to share the demo to anyone, but there're some limitations that don't allow us to do that.

As some of you may know, the user hanakuka gave his account to me to download the demo in "view downloads" on PStore. But unfortunetly only two consoles have access to one account.

Is there any way to make it possible for another user here having access to the account wich has the PES 2014 demo on "view downloads" ?

I heard that you can activate or disactivate your account, how's that ?

Cheers.
