The final code from Dubai was a bit disappointing...
Faster, and less smoother than gamescom code...
And its sad that will be the final code....

It's up to Konami if they want to act on this. They should on principle but they know editing is at the heart of their game and the repercussions for dropping to EA's level could be severe.

Can someone ask Adam if that code is final? I REALLY hope the lack of positioning is due to the difficulty setting. The video is beautiful, otherwise. The defensive pos. is my own quirk. The animations look much more fluid than the demo.

What difficulty is 'medium/regular'?

EA can do such things? KONAMI can't?:SHOCK: It's smell like big shit with stadium editor can't be used in Pes 2014 :FAIL: If EA do this illegal somebody have to send it to Adam :)

Where has it been confirmed that the Dubai build is the final code, video from Adam is disappointing. AI seems to have trouble with simple things like maintaining ball possession.

It's played on regular so Adam could score some goals(and also "show" the A.I improvements :FAIL: ).
 
what's the problem? those are pictures upload bu users, just like we upload emblems and kits in option files. those are user's created content, not EA created.
 
IT's not the same thing as option files, Konami doesn't officially support nor it has a complete tool for their creation and sharing with their brands name on it.

This is the same as having, for example, an advanced stadium editor where you have a database of all other user creations, without any aspect or name restrictions.

But, by that logic Stadium Editor is perfectly legal.

It's on regular, need to see what AI is like on professional and onwards. All pro evo games iv played on regular have had terrible AI.
 
EA has been having that creation center for ages, i don't see the issue. some guy who has the game has probably showed this year creation centre. where would the issue be?

this place is full of option files which infring every law on ip...so i wouldn't be so picky if i were u. same boat really.

konami is telling bs about stadium editor, they probably didn't have time to implement. not that i miss it, most stadia looked crap with stand 10 miles far away from pitch and looking like ww2 venues.

Creation centre isn't the issue, consistency is.
 
The problem is when the company publicly endorses those things. And again, they aren't illegal, but may break the licensing deals.

If Konami is forced to remove Stadium Creator because of similar stuff, then EA should be forced to take down those files, at the very least.
 
Damn - I'm such a slow reader, this thread is growing at a faster rate than I can read it.

Still at page 338 so hoping for good news soon.

Thinking about just giving up and just buy the game on the 20th in the hope that it's great.

This thread has more than 700.000 views and the demo or the game are yet released.

Pes 2013 thread has just over 1 million views but that's from last year till now. The Pes 2014 hype is HUGE!
