Can anyone be my best friend and share the demo with me?

I have the afternoon off and it would make my day.

I have sat through around 10 matches watching CPU vs CPU with various team combinations and haven't seen any players try even the simpler skill-moves they would pull off in PES2013, not a single Marseille Roulette,or Flip Flap, or Elastico/Chop etc, which indicates to me either they haven't been implemented into the AI in thie early code, or they are taken out completely this year in light of the new engine's amazingly organic-ness for each CPU player in terms of the varied dribbling, stopping, turning, many passing techniques etc,and the new ball technique.

We are able to pull off all these skill-moves against the CPU so it would be a disappointment if PES2014 has taken a backward step here for its CPU AI, but if its a current gen issue maybe where the CPU players are having a complicated enough decision in this new engine where it is allowing them to be so organic within the Player ID they have been assigned, that skill-moves within this process have been taken away, maybe its gain the new organic-ness and lose individual skill-moves that are pre-determined in terms of animation sequences?

Hopefully these skillmoves or tricks will be in the final code, and I would be gobsmacked if they could have a CPU player, on very rare occasions, attempt a Rainbow Flick, I have never seen that happen in all previous PES's or indeed FIFA's.

It may be these AI adjustable sections that Yair has noticed include ''probablility of skillmove attempt'' or something similar and it can be tweaked to allow them to try them.

Hopefully Yair/Nesa/Jenkey etc will be able to edit up the CPU AI abilities, or that the final code resolves all of the above, it gives even more depth if CPU players attempt a trick against you and especially if its contextual and on rarer occasions.

ribery did a couple of tricks against me.

anyway i am glad people felt the same as i did, the old pes3/4 feeling is back.

I still can't push the ball forward when running in the usual way (maybe the change the command) and it turned out headers aiming at ground need triangle after square.

ON the annoying things: since pes 2008 konami implemented long replays after goals which are basically very dull and boring. i wish the old ps2 replays were back. And how long would it take to add a "skip replay" option during games? painful mistakes like this really can kill the flow of the game, especially the tight last minutes.

It must be skippable (is that correct? english ain´t my mothertongue :P) as in many of the gamescom vids on youtube, replays after goals have been skipped away.

That was quite annoying for me as I love those new replay angles :APPLAUD:
 
Phew those cloth physics look phenomenal albeit not visible when you watching the gameplay but wow. As for the videos I am beating off the urge to watch them. I wonder if I can skip the demo altogether hmmmmmm

No wonder EA went license bat shit crazy.

yeah, they probably tought that if they can't have animations and gameplay like PES they should atleast have all licenses they can get.
but missing out on the champions league license still gives PES the edge in my book when comparing licenses.
EPL,rain, licensed stadiums still can't compare to what PES has to offer.

If you're saying CM is better than ML I agree. The one issue with that is you just don't get the connection to your players like you do in ML. Even PES 2013 had it.

As an aside from that, I honestly can't believe Konami are willing to let this week go out on such a low note following all the bad news and mess this week.

A hint at ML or a snapshot of League Mode would hang better in the air than the no-rain and no stadium edit fiasco.

I've tried this leaked demo on ps3, from videos and positive comments i expected something different. Do you really think this is an amazing gameplay? I have lost the pes feeling...when playing i was thinking about "i'm playing pes or fifa??" and for me it's not a good thing. i have no more the feeling of doing what i want on the pitch...
shoting is so shit...i really don't like shots. the ball seems to be not so heavy...
when defending pirlo run more than ribery (?????). it's good that is not so useful running when playing...but this is a little bit exagerated...
i really hope that with next demo, and with full game this game change a lot... :(

I think that the changes to scouting in Fifa14 will perhaps give more of that connection you talk about, not sure I quite feel the same sense as you but of course it is nice when you have a young player on your team who does something special/surprising for you, it makes you want to play them more and more, as long as they can keep their damn mood arrows pointing the right way ;)

On the one hand I'm shocked at the lack of ML news so close to release, on the other hand I'm not shocked because I'm expecting them to have put very little effort in improving/changing ML from last year, I mentioned earlier in the thread I stopped playing at PES5 and PES2013 is my first PES "back", it's shocking how ML is almost exactly the same now as in PES5.

How many games did you play? I´ve read in other forums that the first impression of many users was quite restrained and they needed some time to finally get the spark.
Plus, don´t forget, this is a Beta.

The one with the proper manager mode whereby what I do in the match has a significance and a reality to it, and that for me in Fifa, in PES you're playing with fantasy teams in a fantasy league, if you like that great, I liked that for many, many years but grew bored of it at PES5.

good point, but at the moment you also can't qualify for the CL cause FIFA doesn't have the license so that also takes much away from the reality.
so both give you fantasy if you look at it like that

Yep that's definitely true but EFA/ECC does a passable imitation, they generally get all the rules right etc, ML would be better for a start if D2 had playoffs!

the nets need work, they still look like steel cage nets, the nets need to be more loose, better physics.
