Saying that the game has the worst feeling of individuality in the series is almost disrespectful lol.

It hasn't that's why it's disrespectful. From the videos and streams and also the people playing it it's pretty obvious that players like Pirlo and Ribery feel exactly like them.

When I talk about players individuality, I'm not talking about their likeness, I'm not talking about "PlayerID", I'm talking about their ability to create chances "by themselves". I've played over 20 games already and I'm yet to dribble (without using the tricks with the right stick) one or two defenders with Ribery or Muller. I haven't been able to sprint and outrun a defender either or feeling more skilfull than the player (rival) in front of me, you know? that sensation of "I will get past him, I KNOW I CAN" that I used to get in PES 5/6 and PES 2013.

Sometimes I get the feeling that for those who played the demo and love it (even if they know some stuff must be fixed) there's nothing wrong with it, and they will snap or get mad at anybody who points certain stuff that aren't good enough FOR THAT PERSON.

For example, me and a few more guys talked about the catch-up bug and instantly 4 or 5 snapped at us saying we need to build up the play, or that we don't want real football and shit like that.

Now I talk about player individuality, which is undeniable that it's not ALL THERE (again I'm NOT talking about resamablance with their real counterpart, or their moves, or their faces, or their animations), I'm talking about dribbling accuracy, ability to get past defenders, etc.

AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, Jenkey is back and he provided details on why he left.. He's on the PC thread currently, so go there.. I want to stay on topic.. Just thought you ppl should know. :CONFUSE::SMUG: PS3/XBOX PES14 can be just as amazing as 'the other platform'.

you mean modded ps3 and 360, right?

completely agree with this. i do not feel fast and agile with ribery. as for pirlo, who many say is very indvidual-like, i still disagree to an extentt -- there are times when he feels a little 'smoother' when turning but overall i also i do not feel agile with close control.

in fact, the entire game in general feels too cumbersome in tight spaces. it does not feel right for close control situations, and often in these times i do not feel in total control of the player

100% agree.

But IMO Pirlo feels amazing at passing the ball.
To me, Ribery feels really fast when you have a few meters to run without getting an opponent in front of you (which is really rare). The problem is when the ball is in dispute, that's when every player feels almost the same and they all feel slow, unresponsive and heavy.

It's like, when you have a rival in front of you, or when you're 1vs1, there's nothing you can do but to pass the ball. THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I FEEL.

Your being really critical on a build that wasn't an official demo bro.

Is FDB and steelers the same person?! They agree so much maybe hookup for drinks after would be good for you two.

Man this wait is fucking agonising september 11 is a looong way still.

I don't really see what catch up bugs talk about in this video ;)

Well, that's because Muller never had an advantage, to start with.
The catch-up bug is (pretty self explanatory) when you have the advantage, you are ahead from the defender, you have a lot of field in front of you to run and score, and all of a sudden the defender that seemed to be far away catches up to you and take the ball away.

I exagerated it for explanation purposes and to make my point, but that's pretty much it, more or less...

Of course. And believe me, I would be glad to be proven wrong when the official demo comes out in 2 weeks. Hopefully I'll be the first one to come here and say it.

I'm sure unresponsiveness will be fixed. But I'm worried about the catch-up bug and players individuality.

Giacherrini might just be my first signature in the ML
Nice compilation, thanks for the upload. Love the player's celebration and how truly happy they seem, graphically this game is a monster but I just wonder what it'll be come next year.

Can anyone here tell me if we also have to blame EA for commentaries? PES has been using the same commentaries for the past 3 years that I am not even surprised to what Jon champion will say next. I think Konami are lazy on other platform of the game and that where EA is capitalising as they can't do much with the gameplay.

Even the Champions League license they have they don't use it extensively in the game to like FIFA promote the EPL in the game. the stupid CL competition of 5 minutes online are just pathetic.

Is EA blocking Konami from delivering a good new set of match commentator?, is does EA have exclusive right to Jon Champion and his other pal to not give us complete new commentaries?, I don't think so, and I starting to not believe this all blame EA stadium saga as it either they don't have much time to build them in Fox Engine or where expecting them for free from Teams/Leagues. #BlameKonamiForEverthing

Well said sir!

I won the Europa league last year in my ML, made absolutely no reference in the commentary that it was the Europa league final, what's the point of having the license if you're not going to use it properly?

Have any of you witnessed the CPU attempt any skill-moves in this early demo that are not based around the organic player movement/twisting/turning/control of the ball?

I have sat through around 10 matches watching CPU vs CPU with various team combinations and haven't seen any players try even the simpler skill-moves they would pull off in PES2013, not a single Marseille Roulette,or Flip Flap, or Elastico/Chop etc, which indicates to me either they haven't been implemented into the AI in thie early code, or they are taken out completely this year in light of the new engine's amazingly organic-ness for each CPU player in terms of the varied dribbling, stopping, turning, many passing techniques etc,and the new ball technique.

We are able to pull off all these skill-moves against the CPU so it would be a disappointment if PES2014 has taken a backward step here for its CPU AI, but if its a current gen issue maybe where the CPU players are having a complicated enough decision in this new engine where it is allowing them to be so organic within the Player ID they have been assigned, that skill-moves within this process have been taken away, maybe its gain the new organic-ness and lose individual skill-moves that are pre-determined in terms of animation sequences?

Hopefully these skillmoves or tricks will be in the final code, and I would be gobsmacked if they could have a CPU player, on very rare occasions, attempt a Rainbow Flick, I have never seen that happen in all previous PES's or indeed FIFA's.

It may be these AI adjustable sections that Yair has noticed include ''probablility of skillmove attempt'' or something similar and it can be tweaked to allow them to try them.

Hopefully Yair/Nesa/Jenkey etc will be able to edit up the CPU AI abilities, or that the final code resolves all of the above, it gives even more depth if CPU players attempt a trick against you and especially if its contextual and on rarer occasions.

dam i´m i the only one in thei fórum without the demo? :(

can someone share it please or tell me how can i get it
thanks in advance

I've been playing this demo all day and still amazed with moves coming out of the game and its ment to be a bad demo as well, can't wait to see what the next demo is like, ok hoping they keep the midfield battles as it is cause that's one of the biggest reasons I'm really enjoying this game for me it resembles real football.
