sry mate, maybe im extremely stupid..its clear that i cant play with the nomal firmware.

but package building has to be done on pc and then put this pkg file on a usb-stick...am i right?

but the package building doesnt work with this tool

regards

Seems I can't PM you for some reason, I emailed you through the forums, PM me if you don't get it.

It makes no sense at all that stadium editor was removed due to licensing. Stadium editor won't be in the game due to poor planning or lack of resources, much like League Mode last year.

I agree. Licensing is just an excuse

many times the ball has been kicked a lot further ahead, but my player doesn't move fast, he moves very slow, which means he always loses the ball when it happens. R1 seems inconsistent.

yeah I also noticed that on odd occasion when you fill the powerbar nothing happens and the player sometimes just stands there doing nothing

Is it 14+6 stadiums with the pre-order DLC and those other exclusive dlc deals...or without?

I only saw a few stadiums so far in videos and screenshots

licenced(14)
-alianz arena
-estadio urbano caldera
-estadio escorpiao
-san siro
-giuseppe meaza(counts as another licenced stadium i guess lol)
-asian stadium 1
-asian stadium 2 (dlc only?)
-la bombonera (dlc only?)
-new juve stadium (?)
-olimpico (?)
-stade louis 2 (?)
-wembley (?)
-old traford (?)
-porto stadium (?)
-benfica stadium (?)
-sporting stadium (?)
-estadio morumbi (?)
-stade de france (?)
-mohammad lewis (?)
-saitama 2002 (?)

unlicenced(6)
-konami stadium
-burg stadium
-bristol mary stadium
-stade sagitarre (?)
-estadio amazonas (?)
-royal london stadium (?)
-estadio del nuevo triumfo (?)
-estadio de palenque (?)
-rose park (?)
-orione stadium (?)
-ville marie (?)

If 20 total is true, then i think they lost more licensed stadiums then just all 20 Spanish...and deleted some unlicensed too it seems...

the PKG on dkzetanet works fine for me
with modded ps
just copied onto an usb then on my HD and installed without any problem
like other pkg files

People who played the demo:

What was a little detail that left you impressed with the game?

I think this stadia conversation should go no further from here since there's nothing we can do right now to change the facts Adam layed out for us. With that being said, push for early-demo-players to share little details about the game that they liked!

midfield battle is amazing and yeah the ball is a whole differetn entity even if you got it + spot kicks are well thought out + there are not big sink holes in the defence, however the framerate drop is negative point and im afraid of having super through balls in the game but i had to play more...only played 4 matches with my brother last night, but yeah its a very fresh and new game and who liked the earlier next gen pes games those will hate this, and GAMEPACE is awesome at 0

dribbling is better I also like the dogfights in the middle the ai doesn't make it easy in any way. also ai tactics and formations seem to work properly

I hate most pes next gen (2010 and 2011 being the only ones i managed to enjoy), but for those old school ISS players, well lads, you are in for a special treat this time around. This game is simply the old school pes we all waited for.

This Demo is pretty much PES3 in HD and with the added freedom of movements. I am surprised nobody mentioned that so far( i still play pes3 and 5 to this day so i guess i notice it more).
The pace, sliding tackles, off the ball movements, physical weight of players, ball physics, even dribbling animation are strikingly similar to those of Pes3, the best pes ever in gameplay terms. Every moment counts, u gotta think, wait, use players individuality, time well ur defense, force players into bad positions etc. Like the old days, gone are coast to coast, bullshit dribbling tricks, easy ball through. Ribery is a beauty to watch...just by chancing the pace and angles he can pass defenders!

yes the demo is a bit rough around the corners but once they iron out a few things here and there and fix the keeper, this will be a game u play non stop for a year with mates and vs AI.

the one and only thing i can't really stand are the menu', meaning font style and the absurd thing that u have to press X to selct and X to confirm. Menu' are slow, ugly, dull and uninspired and simply stupidly designed.

Speedwise, it mostly depends on the camera u play on. I like a short broadcast cameras (i think i am on 6 zoom, 0 height and 6 angle which feels like pes 2010 broadcast) so 0 speed is fine with me, maybe +1 with lesser teams.

But really, this almost feels like those pes3/4 intro videos u have been dreaming of. Just choose a sexy camera and enjoy the game.

Enjoyed reading that:))

Because it could get to a point where PES is locked out of so much content and even the edit mode. Sales would drop off and they'll have less cash to invest in the game and eventually could just pull the pin. That's why we shouldn't just dismiss it with a shrug of the shoulders. The ramifications down the track are huge.

This. We could be seeing an irreversible shift here which shouldn't be dismissed as unimportant in a blasé manner.

Worrying times, I think, not just for licensing, but editing and modding too. The life and soul of the PES community.

To be honest, while i always say that I love licenses cause i'm lazy, i don't mind if i went back to the old PS1 days where its fake teams playing great football.

I don't think a mainstream football game can go back to that model these days. As graphics improve and gamers demand authenticity, licensing has become more important than ever.

EA know this and are clearly using it to throttle the competition.

Many of us would still play PES if it was wholly unlicensed, but we would be in a small minority. PES wouldn't be able to generate the sort of sales it did in the PS1/2 era.

Speaking of camera setting. Only wide is available in the demo. I edited it to zoom 2, Height 2, angle 10.
It give off a perfect modern day match day cam. Like you'd see at Bernabue, Wembley & Allianz arena. Lovely to see

Another quick point on stadia - what happened to the old 'fake' real-world stadia we used to see in PES? The likes of 'Trad Brick' and 'Red Cauldron'?

Is Konami so shit-scared of potential legal threats?

I mention this because rFactor 2 features a couple of unlicensed real-world circuits - Estoril and Sepang - which go under the names of Portugal and Malaysia in-game. The replications of these circuits are spot-on but don't feature any real naming or adboards.

If they can do this why can't Konami?

'angle' is much better on 0 i feel. 10 is much too high because it cuts of your vision and makes it hard to see your attack/defense, very poor angle imo!

Yeah, not sure.. but Apple does something about rounded edges to samsung ? :P

In real football, faster players outpace slower ones. Not exactly a crazy concept.

An example of this would be pavlyuchenkos goal against inter milan while he was at spurs. bale used pace to get into so much space eventually, catchup should be based on someones stats not way the game is period. Having dribble speed is almost pointless in the game otherwise.

I hope you know what your are writing and thought about it very well because your are make me dreaming ;)

Unfortunately I couldn't try this demo own as I restored ofw on ps3.

What's so hard to believe about the stadium editor and twenty stadiums removed out of the game because of licensing? Konami has all the assets needed to make those twenty stadiums again using the new engine, yet all they could not use it for PES 2014.

EA managed to force Konami to remove a FAKE Bundesliga, with fake names, kits, and stadiums. I still don't know how this is possible, yet it happened.

This doesn't seem to happen in the racing game genre. Look at Project CARS - most of the tracks and some cars are unlicensed fakes.

Actually... What was in that lawsuit that disallowed Konami to make a FAKE Bundesliga? It had nothing authentic in the fake German league besides the player names. I find it hard to believe EA owns the license of EACH AND EVERY player; that's absurd in a whole new way.
