The thing is, there are plenty of clubs are individually tied to EA. There's nothing you can do to stop that as they're business partner. I can imagine the cost would be exorbitant, something Konami can't afford at the moment.

The licences are probably expensive so Konami might not be able to afford as many licensed leagues/teams as EA, but they'd have more than they have now for sure.

Someone in power needs to do something promptly to stop this monopoly even if it takes a long time.

I think the clue is in the title of the game, FIFA! The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) beeing a business partner, is allowing and helping them to maintain the monopoly on the licenses.

Funny how this year EA decide to really kick up their exclusivity, this is one thing that really annoys me about EA. Don't worry about that, just make a blindingly good game and even if PES have all the stadiums in the world people will buy your product regardless.

This worries me, is this EA's new tactic now? Fuck trying to make the game better, just keep signing all these exclusive deals so people will have to play our game to have the Camp Nou, Bernebau etc..

EA waste enough time on their marketing. If the game is good, it doesn't matter what licences are there and what have you. People will always play it.

I know the teams are totally separate but the marketing strategy is what worries me, they will look and say.

"Oh if we can't compete with their gameplay, then forget that, just put everything into the licences!"

Why can't these people have a mentality of trying to make the best game possible and forget about hype than trying every year to throw gimmicks at people, trick them into buying the game, they find the bugs and flaws and then take the money and run until next year do the same thing over again.

After playing 5/6 matches... I have to say that I like the game... but some really big player awerness problems and responsiveness issues are getting the worst out of me! :RANT:

And I would share... but unfortunatly I can't cause mine was gameshared... and the DEMO isn't in my "DOwload List"! Sorry!

And don't know if there is any kind of limit with shares.. so be carefull!

Man, I'm so fucking pissed about the news of losing the 20 stadiums for La Liga, why the fuck did Konami not sign a deal when they had them in for pes 2013? Why are those EA bastards allowed to get away with this monopolising bullshit? Just wait, I can see FIFA getting rights to UEFA CL & EL before long, exclusivity of course, PES will be left with nothing at this rate.

I'm gutted about the stadium thing, 20 stadiums is appalling really....

Sigh, this fucking sucks, was so looking forward to PES 2014, and Konami's crap decision making is evident again :(

Exactly more than konamis diabolical PR this could seriously stunt their growth.

Those stadium is more likely part of deal with club individually. Just because you have the right for La Liga, doesn't mean you have the right for all it's 20 stadium. When it comes to legal issue, it is really complicated and confidential.

Losing la liga stadia is a huge, huge blow. looking ahead without edit mode, PES is fucked. Editing and modding is what excites us and brings this community together.

this monopoly can't be legal, it shouldn't be allowed either. If FIFA continue to do this, they'll make a shitty game and it won't matter cos they have stadia and licenses to sell units.

P.S this is all so sad because this demo is really good and the retail game might be amazing. but only 20 stadiums :CRY:

Not a huge deal, this stadium announcement. Some leagues in PES2013 nearly don't have any stadiums, and it doesn't stop us from enjoying them. Gameplay is always king.
 
only 20 stadiums no stadium editor either,
bet there is something else they are hiding.
all we want now is player switching not to be fixed.
AI of players running away from the ball still.
and being able to score 100 times out of 100 in 1v1s with the gks
then i hope this will be selling cheaply for those that want to purchase it.
