Pes 5 had no rain in Master League. Every match was sunny.
Why do Konami insist on shooting themselves in the foot? game looks so promising this year and they keep scoring own goal after own goal. Rain is quite a simple thing to include in the game and it should be in, just shows a bit of incompetence (again) from Konami when they cant include rain conditions due to framerate issues.
Has anyone actually played Uncharted 2 & 3 on the PS3 in 1080p? the graphics are visually STUNNING and the framerate is incredibly smooth, clearly this new engine Konami are using for PES 2014 is poorly optimised.
Maybe they will remove player faces next.

Every raindrop per DLC.
vital said:The strange thing is Adam was talking on Twitter how incredible rain is in PES 2014 and how it affects play
Adam said:Not on twitter, on here. Which shows it was never our intention to not have rain. And right now I still don't know, so the reactions are a bit much.

I'm in Dubai but wanted to quickly take the time out to pop here and just respond very quickly.
First of all, rain wasn't in the code in Dubai. We were asked why, and we said we're still working on it, as it's not up the usual high standards.
Suddenly, fans think we've confirmed no rain. I tell you, I wish we got this sort of reaction when we announce something good, it's been like wildfire! But I ask one thing, please don't stress just yet. I've used this breakout of negativity to go back to the team for an official answer. I will try and provide it to you tomorrow if possible before I fly back.
If it doesn't make it, it will be technical only. We've always had the intention to include rain. I remember PES on PS2 days wouldn't have crowd in wide cam to keep framrate high after some versions had slowdown. We don't want that.
I also completely understand frustrations here, I'm not oblivious to the fact it's a common scene in football and the way the game behaves, but at the same time pointless in implementing if it impacts the experience. The team know this also.
I've seen people say they won't buy PES because of this, which is weird because PES 2013 you couldn't even see it. Which in essence is a bad way of implementing it, and we shouldn't be doing that also.
But anyway, please wait until tomorrow before you react, I'll do my best to help.
Hopefully the Demo will make us all forget about rain for a good while and give Konami another chance for next year. It better be damn good. Right now the only thing I can think of (about PES 2014) is that Konami should sell the franchise to 2KSports, because they clearly aren't up to speed, haven't been since 2006.
