Don't understand how u see fifa more realistic than pes, I know pes has issues , but to say fifa is better c'mon dude when I control a player in fifa for example it feel like there ice skating, I could go on but no point. Jus remember glitches happen in real life actual real life has even worse glitches which would be unacceptable for gamers.

Im really anxious for your judgement or review, as im going for the opposite path you taking. So, in example, you found FIFA 14 NG fantastic, to me its a ridiculous joke from what ive seen.
 
The way I see it the people that do like fifa, like to have total control meaning they don't want stats influenced in there pass shot, if they want that ball there it's has to be there, if its a xavi Alonso long range pass has to meet its target cause I aimed there no matter which player has the ball or a shot has to be on target cause I aimed there, that's why alot of the boys in here prefer pes we know it had some serious issues but it still has that individuality and tactics which keeps us playing the game.

PES pass/shot assistance is just as bad as fifa

but both pes and fifa have high assistance and a lot of people naturally use this option (it's easy). i dont see why youre only applying this to fifa

Everything about PES 2014 looks substantially better than any of the FIFA 14 NG gameplay videos we've seen. There's no comparison and it's not even close. Yet you insist FIFA 14 is still better even though you have nothing to base your opinion on. So either you are blind, or you're trolling and baiting in order to get a rise out of people. It's one or the other mate, don't try and make it sound like it's everyone else with the problem.

I don't care either way because I play FIFA 13; it's a better game overall than PES 2013. But I'm not going to post blather about FIFA 14 NG being better than PES 2014, because from everything we've seen, it's clear Konami has taken PES 2014 to the next level whereas FIFA 14 NG looks like a direct port of EA's current-gen game. That's the truth, you know it, so stop speaking nonsense.

Nice post. But the above is why I won't be rushing out to buy PES 2014. The game has had the same issues and annoyances for years and I switched to FIFA because of them. Doesn't matter if a game is more simulation; when it's released in a half-broken state each year it's unplayable, period. PES 2014 in motion looks very good no doubt. We'll see if Konami finally fixed all the gameplay and AI issues, but I have my doubts.

Not worth the effort mate.Some people like Fifa, others like PES.First of all they are both very different games.Fifa is more of a game meant for gamers, something easy , just pick and play, even my grandma can score sweaty goals and win matches(even though she doesn't know nothing about football in general).PES despite it's flaws(oh and they are so many on current-generation)at least has some of the basic pillars of football(inertia/momentum, player individuality, better implementation of tactics...just to give a few examples...).
I haven't played neither of PES 2014 or Fifa 14 NG , but from my experience and from the videos i've seen it seems Fifa still lacks proper foot-planting,although it tries to emulate some sort of inertia...
Both are going to be transitional games to a new engine and will have a lot of bugs and problems that's for sure.
Oh and another big problem with Fifa is that it gets repetitive and boring very fast if you play offline mods.
 
I like my football games to have a midfield battle and require tactics. That's why PES14 is my choice.
 
No sense having the PES vs FIFA argument - Realism is subjective one mans lag is another mans player positioning

No one is wrong and everyones not right in that debate. It comes down to whose interpretation of the sport you prefer.

Agree. PES, despite its flaws, always had some features which make it resemble football much better. EA, on the other hand, have different ideas for their football game, and that won't change soon.

Konami has to make their strongest features unbeatable, and gameplay close to real footbal is one of them.

But I'm still worried about one thing: Refereeing, and specifically the advantage rule. This feature is crucial to achieve a decent gameplay, and if it's bad implemented, users (specially online) start to play different, using the referee errors to their advantage.

It's been a few years, and I still don't believe how refereeing degraded so bad since the excellent PES 5.
 
where is the best place to pre order this to get it early in the UK. PC version

or better off with a digital download?
 
We can see from the vids that PES2014 has response time issues, however that is not necessarily a bad thing. A game that is too quick and responsive is arcadey, This is why I liked FIFA 08 so much.

O não acerto com o West Ham United, pequeno mas tradicional clube londrino não teve maiores explicações por parte da Konami.

Embora possamos reproduzir a Barclays Premier League com patches e option files, a falta da licença inglesa continua a ser uma gigantesca pedra no sapato da Konami. A situação piora ao fato que a Bundesliga agora, outra licença exclusiva da EA tomou da Liga BBVA o posto de segunda liga nacional mais assistida da Europa.

Com a decadência da Serie A Italiana, total desinteresse nas ligas de Portugal e Holanda e a Ligue 1 Francesa ainda engatinhando para se tornar um campeonato maior no continente, pelo menos mais clubes de ambos os países já serviria de certo consolo ao fãs. Ao contrário do que é divulgado pela Konami, não há em relação a Premier League ou a Bundesliga um número limite de clubes que possam ser licenciados.

A exceção fica a clubes com relações de marketing exclusivas com a Eletronic Arts, como o Borussia Dortmund, o Manchester City, Chelsea ou agora o Liverpool. A questão é financeira e é errado mentir para os fãs da franquia citando que só se pode lutar por no máximo duas licenças na Inglaterra e três na Alemanha.

A Konami gastou muito para produzir Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 e muitos desses gastos poderiam ter sido convertidos na aquisição de novas licenças na Inglaterra e Alemanha. Sem ofensas, mas para que serve a AFC? A J-League já está de ótimo tamanho e é o que os velhos fãs da franquia queriam.

I assume they're early base model faces before the final frilly editing happens. That's the easy part. You don't waste time decorating the cake until the base and all the parts are in place.
