I've tried to dig through on here, but haven't found anything explicit - have any of the play testers at Gamescon played against the CPU?

As an old skool ML fanatic, that's the big test for me. You can have the most lovely animations in the world but if the game is just a series of exploits and defensive glitches, it doesn't really mean much :(

Not trying to bring it down, this all looks absolutely lovely and fingers crossed it plays well too.
 
To answer a previous question, Asim did tweet that he played a code behind closed doors that was newer than the code out on the floor which the public were playing. That's where he based his "improved" comments on.

The camera angle on the Man Utd v Boca game is the kind of thing I'd use. Really nice!

Of course the game is pretty much finished by now. I guess this is a video of the newer code they showed behind the scenes. Those guys weren't even allowed to film the screen there.

Several videos are against CPU. Every time the player name doesn't have red or blue under it, it is CPU. Problem is that it seems that everyone always play on regular settings. At least one person showed the regular setting, and the CPU in all other videos seems to behave similar (delaying action etc.).
 
I need news regarding the STEAM pre-order... i want to buy the game. Steam is the perfect place for any game, massive community, easy to use. I need a damn STEAM pre order...make it happen KONAMI, please.

I need a camera like the one on the left. I know its not a camera but if it was it would be perfect!
And it would be even cooler if when i switched play to the right it would switch automatically to the same camera but from the opposite side of the pitch.

Watching these videos, there're awesome: lighting, animation, mass, contact... but, I looked at them trying to guess what is it that keeps the distance with the real thing. I think it is the speed of running, PES players just walk or run there's no acceleration. I think this could be fixed whith a revamped version of the dash button. Depending on the number off press: 1 press start to run, while pressed keep running at that speed; every new press will increase speed of run. And if you press them quickly them you got a sprint. All of this affecting the stamina system.

IMO this will improve the game a lot, both visuals and gameplay.

I'm a little confused about the commentators on this game..

They said because of the inclusion of Argentine league they were including FOX Sports' Mariano Closs y Fernando Niembro.
Also, ecause of Chilean league, Fernando Solabarrieta y Patricio (“Pato”) Yáñez.

What about the rest of latin america?

Did we finally got rid of the Mexican lame commentators?
Are we getting Japanese comentator as well?

Are we getting all of them to choose from?

It all depends of the tournament you're playing?

There is NO ACCELERATION?? You sure bro? Check properly.

The version for Latin America and USA will have all those commentators to choose from for any game type or match. The European version will not

1. There is rumor that 11 vs 11 , what i wait since ... ISS Delux , will be not available on day onе , you need to wait October for patch.
2. NO DEMO , i can't test the game.
3. NO information about any mode in the game
4. And last but not least , no one from my friends is still not and can't see a reason for preordering the game , with is big deal for me.

All these pre-order incentives doesn't mean you can't get it after the game has been released anyway. Check your local retailer, usually they will have bunch of Pre-order Edition or Limited Edition in stock with DLC code printed on a pamphlet. It's absolutely common practice in today industry. In some cases, the publisher will eventually release these so-called exclusive content for free (Witcher 2, MotoGP13, WRC 3).

It is different story if it's digital exclusive, like Steam pre-order bonus or something like that.

about pre-order, i'd love one of those celophane (blue/red) looking PES shirts.. i don't need no steelcase and/or a 1gb flashdive

I Preorder PC Version Yesterday and i believe in KONAMI.
With or without DLC someone will get the files for free.

I really don't care about this... PC user can have any stadio and team, kit what we want. Yeah maybe we must wait bit more when somebody like juce and reddwarf will brake the gamecode and will make some tool but , really i don't care for contents like that .
 
I have to admit that all these videos look pretty awful regarding AI and tactics, they look nice regarding animation and physics although a bit too floaty. Graphics look better and there seems to be more freedom and less rails than in PES 2013, and the ball seems to be a little more free.

Still regarding AI, tactics ... it looks awful, probably because the AI is on regular and because the playing people are not playing well.

Can't wait for the final version to play it on top-player in a singleplayer-competition match to gauge the AI.

I'll skip the demo as it is only 5 minutes and only exhibition matches.
