11 vs 11 confirmed. If they include filters for passing and shooting this is the critical point for me to switching back once and for all to PES. I really hope they do it!

Confirmed where? Is it officialy confirmed? I only saw a vide saying it was in development but was still not 100% confirmed, i really hope it is in the game.

11 v 11 online play

11 v 11 online play finally arrives with PES 2014, and players will be able to take a full team of friends (or strangers) against another.
Players will also be rewarded according to their performance within their position and roles, giving incentive to players to stick to their tasks for a better overall team performance, instead of everyone trying to score.
The 11 v 11 online play will become available with the October 2013 patch of the game.

Especially that match Man Utd - Boca, lighting (best ever made in any football game) and graphic, animations, goal celebration, camera, and that quick free kick :)
Just lovely.
great vid, but please niko, will u make a patch to fix the nets, i have attention to detail and i hate a game with bad nets because i put up with those in the last 2 versions, i want nets close to fifa or better.

these vids look good, i was going to buy a PS4 this year but I think now ill just update my 560ti and keep my PC until next year andd hope this game is moddable

It's a PS3 game anyway, the 560ti would still run this easily.

They are only 5 minute games :)

Fouls on PES 2013 happened quite a bit, depends how you play and the formations.

These matches I've seen are all massively open because nobody has bother to check out the tactic, they have possession game and quick counter with massive high lines and teams are being opened up. Players are struggling to get to grips so they can tackle in the first place.

Too early for this, we need to judge if there are enough fouls in tighter games where both teams are at least setup properly or vs Superstar/Top Player.

Balance is the key, i liked PES 5's foul system, thing is, every game was like that. Balance.

You make good points, and I agree with you for the most part. That being said, there are many examples in the videos where the pressure button jamming players just barge through an opposing player like he is making a american football hit, possession is lost to the other team and nothing is called. That is a clear problem and issue.

I know some hated pes5's amount of fouls, but actions like that need to be a foul at least 50% of the time in a video game setting (100% if I had my way, but I understand it is a game). It looks ridiculous and promotes that garbage type of play.

Is there a chance that ALL the players on the cover will get proper faces in the game?

Qouted for truth!

Its catering for those bloody snotty kids who don't want to master the art of defending. Getting goalside, timing your tackle and knowing when to pressure. Players sending out 3 players everytime you have the ball needs to have consequence

Konami fix this !!

The main concern I have about the videos is that off the ball teammates run at full speed into positions, making the attack/defense transition too fast for my liking.

Fortunately, sliders will effectively reduce that.

Asim is not the Delphic oracle.

Like many reviewers who have slated PES in the last two iterations I would take anything he says with an enormous pinch of salt.

I do not like the idea that a person who seems predicated to FIFA could have influence in feedback to Konami either.

FIFA can stick to it's arcade game while I hope PES pushes on to try and recreate the game of association football more and more faithfully.

As for the nets. They are perfectly fine.

zavvi/shopto

Nothing there yet about the kits.

I think they might have returned to fake cloth animations instead of realtime cloth physics. Kits look so stiff in comparison with previous footage.

I tweeted but got no reply back yet. I'd say on the tighter kits (Manchester United), it looks as if it is :( Bombard them with tweets!!!!!

Yeh I get your point, it's best to wait for the final version. I didn't play PES2013 enough to comment on the amount of fouls in the game. After 2 months playing PS3, PS2, and PC version I decided to go back to PES5.

I found (and still find) PES5's foul system perfect. You could get a free kick, take it, and then get another free kick straight after, gaining an extra yard towards the oppositions goal. Some games would have a lot of fouls and others not many. Some games would flow and others would be boring stop/start and then burst into life.

I think someone mentioned before the idea of a slider system to make the ref strict or lenient that would be a good :)

Did I miss something on asim?

Wait lemme guess...fifa NG is better?

He might still be job hunting and I think the Konami UK positions are full up

Complaints of a lack of responsivity are indicative of a FIFA mindset with no accounting for the laws of physics. Lucky Isaac Newton wasn't around to watch FIFAxx or he may have come up with different laws of motion......:P

Yeah, don't get all this interest in this Asim berk.

If he's not keen on the game, then he doesn't have to buy it!

Unfortunately his words along with certain reviewers are treated with reverential respect by a large number of people who seem to lack the capacity for individual critical thought.

And this negatively impacts on the title.

Actually i have no problem with that, considering he has played both.

But what slightly puzzled me, he thinks the game is on par with CG FIFA. Not to be a typical FIFA basher, but i can point a lot of fundamental flaws on FIFA, specifically the excessive amount of automation on that game. Clearly he has different idea for his ideal football game. It looks to me, he's focusing too much on fluidity.
