After seeing that I'm impressed, it was tight opportunities weren't easy to come by just the way I like it. I just hope konami don't stuff it up come release date cause they have a bad habit of doing so. Bring on the game modes.

Looks pretty good in that video. Still not seeing the CPU keep possession enough for me though. They still want to constantly move the ball forward instead of trying to retain it and he did say that it was on the hardest difficulty.

So many details spotted in that video:

- AI still plays too direct, never ever pass the ball backwards in Top Player/Superstar (Adam confirms that difficult level at the end of the video).

- Much better animations than previous PES. However, in some cases I felt there was an extra animation which wasn't needed, adding a feeling of "extra weight" to the players.

- Concretely I absolutely loved the contact situations. About time PES finally has a physics engine.

- Awesome lightning, but I'm afraid there won't be dynamic shadows this year.

- Cutscenes still look choppy on PS3. Even the low LOD setting can't help to mantain a stable frame-rate.

- In throw-ins you can change the thrower on-the-air with Select/Back button. Nice addition.

if you was the Barcelona match against Santos you will see the similarity between the two games .. so I think it's very realistic the way Santos are playing .

I liked some of the physical jostling when someone was trying to keep the ball. Also had some nice oomph to the headers.

Still not sure why most saves by the keeper are two handed?! I'm hoping the tactics board will impact the way the AI moves a lot more noticeably.

Looks to be an interesting balance they have to reach between the animation smoothness and momentum though. Will only be able to really judge how good it moves and feels when we play it. Looks alright though.

Probably tactics again, they probably been set on Quick Counter/Long Ball.

Konami love Quick Counter and Long ball. Two new sliders with 'Switch to attack' will be interesting, I presume setting it to 0 will make the CPU just pass the ball around more since with Long ball its at 18

Finally a video playing against the CPU-AI. Unfortunately it can't be seen which difficulty-level was used and it's only an exhibition-match. Maybe it's just regular AI-level, at least I hope so cause even though the player wasn't concentrated Bayern (the one controlled by the human) had a possession rate of 67% in the first half and 63% in the second half.

Otherwise, just like the other videos, it looks stunning regarding graphics, atmosphere and animation.

So it seems the only remaining major topic and possible topic of concern is the CPU-AI (and all that it entangles, like tactics, realism, cheating-concerns...). I hope till final version it will be just as stunning and awesome as the visuals/animations...

It was santos against bayen....... Anyway i bet if adam switched their gameplan to possession then they would keep the ball but my guess is that its set to counter attack.

Adam says in the video that it is highest difficulty setting.

Defensive AI by santos seems to be improved, though there are still awareness issues when the ball passes by them.

I believe reason CPU is direct against Adam is cause santos is an attacking side. Brazilian teams are known for that, I have to see quite a few different sides to convince me the AI is still direct, also I do remember masuda saying different cultures have there own style of play.

We can judge animations, graphics, lighting and many visual things but the AI will need us to play the demo.

Wow !! those are bringing us all out of the woodwork...is this Konami's video showing new ball physics ? If there's such a thing as reincarnation i want to come back as those !!

Guys, unless we're posting gif's of girls kissing other girls, with tongue, can we please not cheapen this thread.

Lots of "PES2013 moments" on the AI, the most glaring are the ones where the ball just goes straight through a player. Animations and graphics are all new and they do look great, but the main dribbling animations look way too "light" (FIFA-like).

So can someone get me up to date? Last time I was here, the game was crap; then it was brilliant again. What's the status now, apart from the addition of numerous tits to the forums? :D

KONAMI tutorial videos make the game animations and graphics look like crap

Xavi was right
