I would assume the AI is on the lowest difficulty, to allow the player to demonstrate the features of the new attacking AI options.

I think the tricks are not shown in real-time.
The defense ai seems to be on "beginner" difficulty for presentation purposes.

some people are blind.

It may still be "bad" on the highest difficulty (I myself never experienced it as I don't play with mods which usually mess it up), but they do need to show the stuff you can do.

Beautiful ball physics(shame the A.I seems clueless) :APPLAUD:.

must be all the time giving "orders" to our players? such basic things?
IA filthy attack on all sides, without giving any respite to the player.
because our players do not have the same intelligence to attack? must be all the time giving orders to the dolls?

All the best for this game, but basic things:

simplified gameplay
equal, IA / player

Chill.

I just noticed a new thing about the recent video: The animation where each passer of the ball comes to a full stop, after passing,is fixed. Progress.

I don't understand this whole 'it's complicated' business. For the amount of depth and complexity involved in football; fifa and pes is as braindead as it gets; heck i'll even argue that playing COD in a team is much more brain intensive than playing the current football games. I'm happy that they actually added more real time tactics; and frankly i still think it isn't enough; it still feels like im running a simulation rather than playing a game; and i don't mean a realistic simulation. We need more reactive thinking involved in football games; no automatic bullshit.

Is there the need to explain it's on low level? It's obvious.
Santos players just run and don't press Bayern players at all, the midfield pass by CPU is so weak to show the quick counter

that scorpion kick goal is so easy because defenders left him almost alone and marking is so loose

If we talk about the video without searching for errors it's a great video.

Gameplan sliders are even more deep (attack shift is new, there are some other changes as well i want to test) and the command to have a higher or lower defensive line during goal kick is a nice touch

I still don't like the dotted line

Also, the existance of an option to remove those name tags above the players' heads is shown the in the new video. :SMUG:

me neither. i never find pes games too complicated. but new feature "team play" should be all in tactics board, no point to manually use it. just allow me to put it in my tactics and have a "how often?" setting (rarely, sometimes, often)

tactics like this should be left on the tactics board for me

winning eleven 4 and winning eleven 2002, were well ahead of their time, had a lot of freedom, and tactically they were perfect.
not so in this generation, konami focuses too much with the "stick combos", faces of players, forgotten the simplicity and freedom of the old games, you should really start from scratch

I really liked Pes 2013, but let me qualify that... with Gameplay Mods/Tools by jenkey/yair/nesa.

So, as long as Pes 2014 can fix two things I'm happy.. (1) better/more varied animations and (2) better (physics based) collision system.

As long as we have those two improvements, we will be ok, because we have the likes of jenkey/yair/nesa to save the gameplay.

The fact that it's not there on any of the players' heads during the goalkick, whereas in previous versions it always was. To any possible counterpoint : If the goalkick was simply a replay, likely like the rest of the video, the dotted lines would be absent.
