Your tactical analysis is a good read, mate. The problem is that Konami doesn't seem to care to implement tactical elements DEEPLY, not just some shiny new option in the formation screen which is broken or does fuck all.
Hope that someday Konami is gonna take a good look at feedback like yours. (make sure you send it to them though, they have to see it!) But they surely seem to be taking into account only the "NOOO, game is too slow" kind of feedback...

No you have in your head a negative idea about the game without playing it and tie the previews back to it selectively to illustrate what you think is wrong cos surely it can't be right. Then you do a little jig and post I-told-you-so posts.
There's a difference between being objective and critical while remianing impartial and believing Konami will fail from the get-go.
Fact of the matter. If you haven't played it you can't say whether a game is good or bad.
Word of advice. Your opinions are not always 100% right and people posting an opinion in conflict with yours are not always wrong.

If a gameplay involved modder like nesa24 greets and waves, it's all said and done..Let's hope the countermeasures be taken with all of this pathetic "license parade", don't ruin all.

I guess all this negativity towards early codes and the credibility the Asim guy gets is a litle bit my doing. I was one of the first to react to that opinion and i wrote something like:
I have a FEELING, that this is a more accurate point of view than all the shouts about the king that is back (it wasn't exactly that, but that iswhat i meant).
Of course this is bullshit, but understandable bullshit. Every year since PES6 we expect a good game, IMO we only got a half decent one in PES2011. That edition had issues, but i played it quite a lot and would be happy with a repat of that game (which shows how Konami has let us down).
But like i said, this was only a gut feeling. If i see what my post has done (or rather what effect Asim's preview has), i don't know if i should apologize or laugh. People judge a game they never played (and so did i in a way).
You can't judge PES2014 until you have played the retail version. I guess i will play the demo, but recent past has learned me that the retail version will be different (i hope it will be better, but i fear it will be worse like it was the case with the last two editions).
People here think they can influence Konami (or EA). They are totally wrong. We are football game freaks (and most know the game inside out, i don't to be honest). But companies like Konami or EA never target "hardcore gamers", they target the casual gamers. The people who buy a game and play it for a couple of weeks.
It's good that people make lists, but i'm afraid that they are completely useless. We are dealing with a company like Konami. How does Konami function ? Well one year they take away the league mode despite the protests on the internet and the other year the come-back of that mode becomes an asset of the new edition: "look what we've done, we've included the league mode, be happy for this giant leap forward !!! (and the funny thing is that some people who are really fans, are happy...they treat Konami like my 13 year daughter goes totally crazy for boysband One Direction).
I would be over the moon with a game like PES2011, and everything that is better than that would be fantastic...
One more thing about the Asim/Adam Bhatti row. Someone here posted their conversation on Twitter. To be completely fair, i don't see what Bhatti has done wrong in that conversation. Asim twitters about treats but he specifically writes that Bhatti is not to blame for them...
Adam Bhatti is the Basil Fawlty (yes i'm old) of community managers, don't make him look like Saddam Hussein, that is too much honor for this person who is apparently nothing more than an harmless clown. The fact that he works for Konami speaks volumes about their professionalism and the bond/feeling/touch they have for the community around their game.

When you say polite, that doesn't mean you do what you did now. Just post your experience normally without insults or "(*polite*)", and post based on proof, i.e. playtest, how you got access to internal code etc.
Please be coherent, precise and specific.

I start to feel very happy that I will be on vacation for the next 3 weeks without internet connection. Reading some of the posts here is just incredible. Some people are already destroying the game before having chances to play it. I wish I had power to resist the temptation of not read anything else about pes2014 till the day i will buy it, like the old good days. Forums are a good thing for sharing knowledge but at same time too many people nowdays think they are GODS that need to tell their opinion and to make it a FACT, a RULE, something that everyone else MUST agree with, because they say so. I will try this experiment> when I am back from vacation I will try to read only the news thread (hoping that the good old Lami remembers to update it since sometimes he forgets to do it

Gameplay features are known to someone who programs with codes. As konami is leaving the old engines, in this version, nesa24, and probably others like him, know what it will be used.
