Just a quick couple of questions regading ML and BAL. Apologies if this has been answered already.

Can you change transfer frequency? If not, has anyone played long enough to see if the transfers are way too frequent?

Also, has the calendar on the "Schedule" menu been replaced by one without dates?

Lastly, does anyone know if all the cutscenes have been removed from these modes? Will there be any presentation cutscenes if you win an award, for example?

Agree.
The menus still look poor hopefully they will be worked on for PES15 NG.
Also the Master League needs a total revamp. Its dated.

There is a problem with the data-pack for the Xbox-version.
When I try to download it, I either get an connection error or it passes the download to 100% but then - during install - I get the message : "the data pack is broken, download again".
Tried three times but it does not solve anything.

Have others the same problem?

People have some issues with optimizing the game. But for the most part it is running smoothly dependent on the hardware.

I play on both PC and PS3. But this reminds me I don't need to buy both versions. Glen does excellent kits.

BAL is stripped down and feels pretty crappy. No improvements, they just removed stuff. And unless I'm missing something there is only the option to "build" a face and not use any form of image as base. Maybe wouldn't be such a big deal if the build mode wasn't so horrible and useless.

"Fox engine" seems like a typical EA cop-out to try and make out a major change, personally. If it's a new engine, why the same stumble animation as has been in for years? The same movement feel?

The only "major" feature to the engine that I'm really seeing is that the CPU STILL constantly harasses you ... but this time this "new" engine has players constantly holding off other players because if you don't play ping-pong, you're closed down immediately so Konami can show off their new strength function.

Custom tactics might fix some issues but every single game I'm seeing the CPU hit through-ball after through-ball with the occasional hoof up front (regardless of the team) where the striker then controls the ball perfectly on his chest.

Let's see what the Konami patch brings but otherwise I'm hoping some gameplay tweaks will come because I swear this feels like PES 2013.1 at times and this "new" super-hyped engine is just marketing bull.

Basically same as pes 2013 regarding cameras. You can customise it but very little, can't have comfortable zoomed out camera with radar like 'tele' one in fifa games, but you can zoom in very very close to players (anyone crazy enough playing that ? )

Really? Full game? I havent seen the stupid stumble on this demo. Your comments on PES2013 .1 leave me gobsmacked - its nothing like PES2013 on the demo.

Hard to judge gameplay by demo since its only 5 mins games. But after playing numerous 15min games of full version it does feel like improved pes 2013 rather than complete new engine.

Do you know if you can zoom out more on broadcast camera?

You can only make variations of wide camera, but options are pretty slim unfortunately. Really waiting for camera edit tool like we had previously.

The COM plays an entirely different, smater, game this year in general. I have the full game and haven't seen yet the through ball issues I encountered on pes 2013

Thats top player difficulty. Through balls in general make defenders do bizzare movement i noticed.

I'm not sure I understand, are you experiencing the same through ball issues on professional in the same way you had with pes2013? So far i hardly seen the CPU cheats like last year...

No I'm actually with you. Not having these issues on professional so far.

Just saw the 1.01 patch btw. Going to play more without it first to see differences if any.
