Dunno, he just vanished back in 2008 and hasn't logged in even once since then. I remember trying to send him a mail a year or two ago but that got rejected by Yahoo. I hope he's okay, though.

Standing tackles must result in many more freekicks. One of the biggest fears I have that this will be the same in full game. CPU keeps missing the ball and kicking my leg to get the ball and no foul. Nimble feet gets you no advantage, all you have to do as a defender is rush in kicking legs.

First impressions of the xbox360 version. WTF. Graphics are awful. Didn't seem this bad last year. What have they done, the face look better on a modded game of PES6. Menus are basic and arcade game like. Controls I haven't got a clue about. What happened to the player switching with the right stick has this gone and we reverted back to the dark ages of crap play switching also where is the control to move a team mate on a run has this gone.

Just hoping the pc version can save this game as otherwise its another Fifa year for me. Last years game had so much promise but was let down mainly by stupid decisions like Bootgate and the ommision of league modes etc. The community is getting smaller and smaller and if they don't put some real effort into the game here in Europe numbers will diminish further.

Hmm, seems very knee-jerk.

Player switching is ther with Right stick but need to hold L1 as well. r3 is used to battle for the ball using the player's body now.

Have you done the training? Saying you haven't got a clue about controls is a bit hasty is it not?

Give the game some time.

Also, to me anyway, the graphics are far better than 2013.

Am i the only one who feels like the graphics have been dumbed down for the demo? I'm sure in retail they'll be fine, as many of the pictures we've seen are from current-gen consoles.

Also, on the note of input lag. I feel like there is none to very little. This is because when you want to pass the ball, usually you maneuver your feet to get a good pass on. So with this i feel that when you try to pass the ball, the player you're controlling tries to get his feet in a position where a good pass will be made. This is the same with shooting, to me it looks like your player tries to get some sort of wind-up in order to get power in the shot. Technically you can't really shoot if the ball is right at your feet, you need space.

WTF?! They better be joking. That's potentially a gamebreaker for me since I play Master League as Lazio and only Lazio every year! It may seem stupid but from walking into our stadium to walking into the Konami Stadium is a huge blow and a great loss of realism! So pissed off if it's not in there! A stupid gamebreaker maybe but FFS! :RANT:

Played all 3 versions extensively and out of the 3 the USA version is the worst. UK version is great has nice pace to it and the JAP version is really good too, pace is a bit faster than UK and USA. I'm baffled with people complaining about response issues iv played over 50 games and am pretty happy, there's obviously a few niggles that need ironing out. For me the game plays really well.

The speed of this game is perfect. When i set camera to 3,3,7 in custom option it plays superbly.

You cant play this game like last years, for once its a totally different animal.

Ive seen people complaining about heading and first time shots, theres nothing wrong with them, its all in the timing. I dont consider myself a pes expert by any stretch but ive had no problems heading the ball.

if anything the only problem ive had is adjusting to no assisted passing, it is totally manual and takes a lot of work to get used to power and direction, you may not ever need to use the manual modifier again its that manual!

This game is the game we should have had a few years ago, but im glad its finally here. For the first time in several years i wont be buying fifa. This is pes with the physicality and manualness of fifa, merged with the technical know how and pure footballing love of konamis team, with the nicer graphics and models.

I just dont understand people who have moaned about stuff. Yes its not perfect but its the closest we have to simulated football matches.

I like the grind, the battle. I want my man to sometimes force his way past his man, or bundle through. I want my players to make mistakes, to sometimes miss a ball or not respond to the action. Because that happens in real football matches. I love nil nils and scrappy matches a smuch as i love goal fests, thats what makes goal fests enjoyable - that they are few and far between.

This game is amazing.

i think the graphics look ace. A bit rough around the edges but more importantly organic.

I think I'm in the few here that love the graphics and think it's the best I've ever seen in a football game.

I think PC gamers comparing their souped up older PES versions to this console version isn't doing this any justice. To say this looks like a PS2 game is extreme. If I had this back in my PS2 days I'd be over the moon.

About manual shooting, manual shooting with L2 feels more powerful than manual shooting from settings.

I certainly think they've degraded the level of detail a little since the first demo, probably as an attempt to correct the fps issues.

Stadium list is really rather disappointing, not sure there is enough diversity there for any sort of campaign.

Stadium list is piss poor to be honest. Konami have lost much more than the Spanish stadia if that list is true.

How exactly do you curl it man? I've taken a good few shots with R2 and they curl but most often they go extremely high and way off target as well as looking very unnatural, except once where it was perfect and hit the bar.

For some reason though, I just cannot pull the left trigger and shoot straight. For me it's like trying pat my head whilst rubbing my stomach...:CONFUSE:

I love graphic.I think thats because of lighting which is best seen in any football game ever made! Even day or night.

I made great settup with gamma,contrast,brightnes and colors,and make it great :)

So the graphics are "like PS2" ? what a load of utter bollocks, that's absolute drivel. The graphics are superb, they are going to literally look amazing on PC, cant wait.

But yeah, that stadium list, if true, is diabolical.

What annoys me is that EA have taken the la liga stadium rights and are only adding 4 of the 20 stadiums into the game, arrogance beggars belief, if they are adding only 4 they can let Konami have the other 16 in my opinion!

True. But kinda irrealistic as it goes too strong almost all the time. It lacks varation aswell, especially the trajectories and ball physics. Have you managed to pull out a "grounded" shot yet?
