They really need to let us use normal speed in replay mode. It's only slow motion, or am I missing something? I prefer to watch replays, from games and real life, in normal speed.

Dammit out of the days my fiber-optic internet stops working last night and had to download through 3g network, this of course didn't finish until 2 AM..... and i thought one game only and i'll call it a day given i have work this morning.... didn't end up sleeping until 3:30 am !!!

At first contact the game seems so different than 2013 or any of the CG releases. The first two games felt very different to any other PES or WE game i ever played, however, by the 4th game that feeling of familiarity started to come back and this game is defiantly WE(pes).

I love it so far and cant wait to go home and play again.

I cant wait to play this game.I have to wait till tommorow yet as im an Xbox user.Will be feasting on some You Tube videos today though as it should be awash with them now the PS3 demo is out

I downloaded the 360 demo torrent and the stupid Xbox corrupted two memory sticks midway through formatting so I had to burn it to DVD.

Holy SH*T!!!

This is the first time I've turned my 360 on in 4 years after becoming a pure PC gamer. The loading times are atrocious and take about a minute and up just to get ingame(can you install demo from a burned disc to speed this up?), the graphics are so blurry and the framrates abysmal, I was literally struggling to make a substitution in the menu as the cursor was warping around the screen through framerate dips.

Luckily the actual gameplay part seemed interesting and dynamic, albeit a bit to fast for my liking. Played 3 matches, won 2 and drew 1 on superstar difficulty.

I might just leave the demo for now and wait for the full PC version as it doesn't seem like the Xbox can handle this engine very well(at least from dvd-drive) and I fear it will sour me on the game.

I think since I never really brought any of the next gen PES 0-13 Im struggling with this game since im playing it so...basic

I guess I will have to wait for free training ect to learn

My possession rate is always between 50%-65%.

I'm playing on Regular difficulty, 1-bar passing, advanced shooting. Play possession football as well.

Actually mostly getting the feeling of it.

Doesn't anyone think leaked demo is a bit better than this one? And does the WE version have the same teams? I'm back in love with this game, and for the die hards like Jimmy G etc who stood fast and kept the faith knowing the true potential of this game and to the whole Evo web PES/WE community it's so good to have the King back.

The leaked demo isn't better in any areas, bar the Game-Speed option. I feel, in hindsight, it was a 50-60% code against a probable 90% in it's current state.

Also, I think you're right, this isn't one years work, this is the amalgamation and vision of 4 years work. And with the inclusion of the Fox Engine, all the past work, which is still the base for a lot of what we see now, is bearing fruition.

Love it.

Simple to pick up, impossible to master. It's classic PES, but far deeper than anything we have seen before.

But why 5 minute games FFS ?!! Jeez, I'm sure the matches go quicker on this than they did on Demo 1 ?!

Or maybe it's just the old adage, ' Time flies when you're having fun....!'

First opinion was now utterly awful it looks, especially from the pitch vide when playing. Pitch looks like plastic AstroTurf and nothing has any texture, just flat colours and some of the player models... Jeez - look at the state of Rafael.

That aside, I did think it felt slightly better than FIFA - players are weightier and I think you can feel the momentum much more in this than FIFA, but it still feels like hard work to play, nothing is free or quick etc, just slow deliberate passing.

Dunno, gonna give both a bit more time, but highly doubt ill get either on launch day. I'll wait and see what people think of the full games.

For us BAL players, it's possible to walk now... kinda. Your player slows down gradually when you stop moving and when he starts walking, if you just keep tapping the stick he will walk instead of running. Better than nothing!

pc version for me i guess. can't live with the stutters and genereally toned down graphics knowing that fox engine is capable of so much more. might switch for the ps4 version later on / next year

The animations where perfect there. He didn't need to power the shot, just prod it carefully since it was in the air. Its typical PES, he shaped his body so he could volley it using his right foot.

Try doing some practice volleys with a ball after a few kick ups, its not hard to prod the ball and have a result like that.

This game is so deep and ı love it..Finally tried the demo and it's just amazing.My only concern is that ı haven't scored a long shot goal and it feels like it's impossible..I don't know either it's realistic or harder than realistic..

Thats great! I loved reading that post and I can´t wait to play that game with my two sons (14 and 9) who were asleep already when it finished downloading yesterday.

So, on one hand people say the game even on current gen looks stunning, with realistic lighting, awesome pitch textures and little details - and miles better than previous PES games. On the other hand, people seem to now be saying it looks atrocious, with blurry visuals and poor textures.

FFS which is it?

I'm a PC gamer and trying this demo on the 360, it's VERY blurry and low res to me compared to PC games so maybe people saying the same also mainly play on PC?
