First seemed like missing out on this demo didn't bother as it was buggy as hell and I was patient for the 'official' one but it seems even with it being 'old' not a lot of negativity surrounding it.

HMMMM, if anyone's willing to possibly help me out

I really don't think the main menu look bad, at all. Especially when it show the entire league and competition. Responsive, easy on the eye, that's everything that matters to me. Screenshot certainly don't do justice.

Sure 3D animated menu looks great. But the thing is, it get old very quick and at one point it start to become an annoyance, with all the menu and animation transition which takes extra load time. For example Dead Space 3 and FIFA 13. Sometime i wanted to play those game, but can't be bothered to go through all the slow menu and constant internet connection check. There's bit psychology factor there. To me, just keep everything simple, that's the priority.

One thing that annoys me is the menu is clearly designed for advertising.

Do you really think that huge space at the right (with the margins and all is nearly half the screen) is only going to be used for showing the leagues list?

Finally got the demo. First reaction was its nothing like PES 2013 and any other previous versions so Im not sure what some of the guys are talking about when they said its like PES 2013.

With that said, I know I'm going to have a lot of fun with this game. Can't wait to start ML. Its truly and amazing game despite the demo being an unfinished product. I love it. First game was Italy vs Germany and I won my first game 1-0. Just wanted to share my first goal.

Can this guy replace Jon Champion and the awful Jim Beglin.

My problem is not PES not having licence to talk about players, it how the commentator get involve in the match something FIFA has mastered. and for a game which has two set of commentaries, PES hasn't even reach one set and the same lines are repeated over and over again for the past years.

FIFA's commentary is pretty boring and repetitive too. Use a club that has specific commentary and you'll hear the same lines over & over. What they have gotten better at is incorporating outside story lines into the matches. The problem is they usually force it on you at the start and then abandon it shortly thereafter. PES does this when certain players have scored a few matches in a row but neither game does well to capture the buzz around a big match.

The problem with Beglin is Beglin. IRL he often has long spells of silence where he just lets the game play out.

At around 12:40 Adam says the main reason we have less stadiums it because we have to rebuild everything from scratch. Makes me wonder if there was even going to be a stadium editor in the first place unless Adam gives us proofs that the editor was there but will be disabled. I just can't trust Konami guys, they have been lying to us for more than I can remember and have played the blame EA game for so long. I honestly hate FIFA and EA but won't stand the Konami tactics anymore.

My two cents of the demo:

Positives
- Graphics are AMAZING (faces look super real). Hats off to the fox engine
- The ball definetely isnt connected to the player and this makes it feel harder to control it but also more satisfying
- Collisions have improved and are more natural now but the occasional bad ones do pop up
- AI is much smarter but too easy if this is indeed superstar difficulty. I beat germany 3-1 with italy after only playing 4 games and drawing all of them 0-0.

Negatives
- Unresponsive like many have already reported.
- Very hard to get fouls or commit them. Mostly the fouls only come from sliding tackles.
- The pace isnt consistant. Sometimes it feels good and sometimes it slows down but this might be due to the unresponsivesness. Also I play on +2 speed.
- Its very easy to get the ball back from the opposition.
- Commentary is repetative and boring mostly.

Overall i think this years game has a lot of potential. It certainly feels much more refined and can become exceptional if Konami can fix the small issues mentioned by me and many others on this forum. I sincerely think that this year will be special for football lovers everywhere and PES will be the game of choice due to its quality over the quantity offered by its competition.

I'd appreciate it if someone could share the demo with me :)

Off to work and gonna be home around 4/5pm and i hope to get pleasantly surprised :)

Why does Carrick stop ? He should continue to track Kroos but inexplicably stops.

This crops up again and again when a player tracks a running opponent and then decides to stop for no defined reason. It does not happen in real football.

This is something that Konami need to look in terms of AI.

i really hope there are more camera options in the full game that are also customisable, because the current wide cam is much too zoomed in

What I just saw... I know, it's nothing huge but a small detail which annoys me in PES: The missing umlauts on the kits.

What I mean is Özil having Ozil on his kit, Müller Muller and so on. It can't be so hard to get that right.

All in all I just can't wait to get the game.

As part of their deal with the Bundesliga the evil EA have also copyrighted umlauts.

That is so beautiful
Yes, it's very beautiful. A little bit of skating here and there but all in all really enjoyable from what I see! :)

BTW, this lighting quite fooled me into thinking it was a real life match.
