PES 2014 Discussion Thread

my only problem is that holding my own quite well on superstar and I haven't really played fifa or pes for nearly two years it really need to be harder than this on the top setting

There isn't a need for catch up in this game and i think it was put there to balance out the beta.

There is such dreadful responsiveness layers would just look t sprint rather than play.

With PES 2014, its not like other football games where you could just sprint and expect to retain full ball control at all times. If you tap R1, you have a high likelihood especially with the amount of freedom to overrun te ball, unbalance yourself of the impending shot or cross.

I don't think we will see this again. no need for it, don't think there has been really.
 
I have had to red cards in the 1st half, this really is the business and if it's supposed to be a very early build then i think the full game is something special. Really feels like i'm in control of my players. Thanks to a true football man for the download.:APPLAUD::APPLAUD::WORSHIP:
 
One more thing... I'm starting to feel the presence of scripting. Everytime I score before the AI does (1-0) they automatically start creating CLEAR scoring chances, one after the other until they score. Then the game goes back to being leveled.

I assume they sent them the demo as they'd given them a time they'd release it in.

Thankfully they had the sense to pull it, clearly they knew releasing it in this state was a bad idea, anyone with half a brain can see that it's not finished.

To be fair to konami, it's not their fault this got out.
 
Anyone kind enough to help me out with the demo, please PM and I'll follow the instructions. Its boring here in Africa, the demo might help me alot

you don't know that at all, and given their track record why would anyone take this position? they obviously submitted 1 or 2 demos, they faffed around in a hurried mess unsure of if they should release this one or that one. at the end of the day their general confusion was the kickstarter for the leak, i mean seriously, what other company has this ever happened to?

Maybe Heart is enabled in the demo. Quite likely.

Konami get a lot wrong, IMO they tried to do the right thing and even announced demo was gonna be pulled. Don't let hat stop you rambling on and using Komamis track record to take a pop.

Yep. Cracker with De Rossi in only game I played. Manual shot, lay off and just smashed the fecker to be honest aimlessly. Flew in though.

call it what you want mate but my point stays valid. demo leaks are not a regular occurrence for game companies, coupled with the fact that this konami, coupled again with the fact they delayed and messed around with their submissions and pulling of submissions... well yeah, it paints a pretty clear picture of where this mess originated
 
I tell you what, for a demo that is rough around the edges and one that Konami didn't want us playing, I can already say this is going to be the best playing PES this generation, period! Reminds me a lot of PES 3 & 4. It's got that addictive quality about it. The new animations, physics and customizable camera (with panning:SMUG:) make a HUGE difference.

Not really.

Demo announced, then demo delayed so they can release final representation of the product. Fair enough so far?

Was even a message on psn to say demo wasn't going to be releases afterall, presumably konami didn't want it getting out in the mess this demo is in. Fair enough?

Sony for whatever reason still release it anyway.

Shit, fuck konami douchebags, must be all their fault! Of course.

Anyway what a waste of energy even arguing and trying to pin stuff on konami, it's attitudes so negative all the time about whatever konami does and about the game that I stopped coming to the forum in the first place.
 
i'm not gonna play the blame game but this build was submitted to sony as a demo wether they changed their minds or not
lets just put it down to bad communication or a pes fanboy that works at sony lol

for those who just downloaded it, germany and bayern set as home teams should trigger day games, italy and santos night ones. night lighting is still very flat though, but i adore the day look.

i think i am not gonna play the demo any longer, as much as i like it the input lag drives me nuts after a few games.

But this should be the game we waited for 7 years and the very reason most of us bought a ps3/360.

dont know why youre trying to make it sound like i'm some crying kid. you said something, i disagreed with you because i feel youre most likely wrong. thats it. no need for the drama dude

anyway, i still stick by what i said. it seems pretty clear to me where this problem arose from, but you can think otherwise too. its all good
