I wonder if pes could emphasise that the editing is for gamers to make themselves etc by turning 11 vs 11 into a mode where you form a squad with friends, share the edited team kits and badges and play online. So you try to win to make your team ranked #1 in the world.

Stadium mode, just throw in some templates for grass fields, school grounds, parks, inner city AstroTurf etc and then some generic stadium parts. The idea being you can make stadiums anytime you want and then you can use these for your clubs home ground. You're blocked from using huge stadiums online as your home ground until you rank up.

Offline, whatever. Do with it as you please.

I'm sorry for bothering you, but I was just wondering if you could be as kind as hanakuka and share it with me as well? I'm not even sure that's possible... but I had to give it a try... Thanks!

I think you can only share with two people. And hanakuka is the owner of the account, sorry.

Anyway, I'm having a problem to install the demo. When it reachs 14% it shows an error (80029564) about corrupted file.

I am downloading it again and I hope it works this time.

It's funny, even when I am lucky there must be something unfortunate that happens to me. These kind of things only happen with me.

Just played Bayern Munich vs Italy. I noticed the stadium when playing with Italy at 'home' it was 50/50 neutral in terms of the crowd being blue on one side and red on the other.

How do you toggle this in friendlies? This will give cup finals the right atmosphere.

Also i'm still patiently waiting for a Crowd attendance selector, i DO NOT want every match to be full attendance.

Its so easy to program as well, no excuse for it not being there.

Iam so happy the catch up bug is there. No more running after lobbed throughballs to walcott, van der mirch whatever his fucking name is too. Great news indeed

Try building up your play

I do. Don't assume things.

Spot on there bro play real football.

No, you need to play real football. Acceleration and creating 1vs1 chances are in every football match you watch, so shut up.

like i mentioned, it's less of a catch up bug and more of a physical-battle bug (which glues the defender to the attacker)

yes, because an invisible mass sucking vortex is much more realistic than fast people out-running slow people

You're right.

Great news, maybe actually makes the game playable online!

Feel a bit sad for those people who spam troughballs to Ronaldo though, what are they gonna do now...

Again, stop assuming things. You don't know how I play. Just because I hate catch-up bug (WHICH IS SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T EXIST IN REAL LIFE, IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW IT) doesn't mean I play the way you want to think I do.

and a defender doesnt travel through worm holes to nullify fast players.

catch up bug is a band-aid for a possible mix of things such as: poor speed balancing in general, button lag, poor defensive awareness, and most guilty of all, assisted passing

a good game should have a solid enough system so such problems need not arise, it should NOT shove in oddball scripts to cover them up

Great way of putting it.

yeah I hate the catchup bug they should give defenders more options o contain fast players than just making them faster aswell

and has anyone notice a glitch that makes you lose the ball and sprint really fast for about a second ?

AT LEAST they should tone it down by 50%. That might make it more realistic.

In real football, faster players outpace slower ones. Not exactly a crazy concept.

Exactly.

that's definitely an issue, there is seems to be a force that stop players from sprinting.

There is also definitely less freedom in passing lanes and off the ball runs compared to pes 2012/13, more angular, more old school even in full manual. Which ins't bad by any means, it give the game the proper inertia/weight feeling that has lost since the days of pes6. But u could easily play this demo with the Dpad.

for those finding the game too slow i thought the same at the beginning but now that i got the hang of it i actually feel it's slightly too fast on 0 (pretty zoomed camera though 4-5 zoom).
Like in the old days u have to be very careful with the sprint button, almost not use it at all.

r2 dribbling still a bid stiff and dodgy at time. in general turning around needs smoothing out.

one little thing: powerbar way to fast in filling in, that needs to be adjusted for sure. u touch it for a moment and it's already at full power.

my guess all these things have already been fixed for demo 2.

True.

How is it that one player being faster than another one gets to be UNREALISTIC?.

See? You instantly decide to assume that I (or "Catch-Up Bug Haters" like me) always play as Real Madrid because of Ronaldo, or as Barcelona because of Messi. You instantly want to believe that just because I crticize something that's not well portrayed into the game then I must be someone who doesn't like keeping possesion of the ball, I must be someone who doesn't like passing the ball around and building up a nice play. Well let me tell you something, you're wrong. And you're pretty stupid too.

Because if you don't you think SPEED is a KEY factor in the past, present and future of football then you must be stupid. Or you know nothing about football. Otherwise why do you think it is that players like Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, Van Der Mitch, Robben, Aguero, etc are so valuable? Besides their dribbling skills and the goals they score season after season. It's because they are so fast that they can outrun any defender and create a scoring opportunity.

So don't give me this "I like to build up" shit like I was some kid who only plays football games to give the ball to CR7. Actually I liked playing with teams like Dortmund and Malaga last season and building up too, but then you NEED players like Saviola who can ran and get past a defender by accelerating.

This is like when some dumb people automatically associate SLOW PACE to REALISTIC. I don't like FAST games. But I could never play this game in -1 either. To me +1 feels great. But some people are so narrow-minded it's unbelievable.

SPRINTING = NEWBIE.
LOBBED THROUGH BALLS = NEWBIE
ONE-TWO'S = NEWBIE

GET OVER YOURSELVES AND START LEARNING ABOUT FOOTBALL A LITTLE BIT.

So if the catch up bug is there in the final code, IT WILL BE A BIG DEAL and IT WILL BE A GAME BREAKER FOR A LOT OF PEOPLE because they are preventing us from using something that's one of the most important things in football, ever.

Well just tried this demo.

What I played at the event was more refined. This feels kind of clunky compared to the 90% code even though it is fluid. Animations were more fluid and ironed out as well at the event. The one I played also looks better than this I think. Also had to drop the speed to +1 on this one as compared to my +2 on 90% code. Might be the Plasma tv that's making it faster as compared to LCD, or just the game being a tad quicker, not really sure. Framerate issues are obvious here too. Also noticed players locked on to running aimlessly after a one-two pass or through ball at times, which i didn't witness in 90% code as well.

I'll continue playing this for now, but I'm not enjoying it as I did with 90% code.

Good to know. That's what I wanted to hear.

Hi would anyone be so kind to let me use their PSN account to get the demo. I am very excited to see so many wonderful reviews of this game and I would like to experience it myself. I would appreciate it very much if you can PM me. Thank you very much.

P.S - I have signed the petition!

WENB is doing a queue thing on the demo borrowing. Go to WENB so you can get to play the demo.

if someone is doing it right now i would really appreciate it!;)

So once you blazed past the defense, did you try to cross? Did his cross result in goal kick?
No. They go in the box. Not sure why they'd result in a goal kick unless the player's imbalanced.
OMG

I love this game. I finally figured out what to do lol..

+1 makes a massive difference
Don't know what's going on with me, but I feel this demo is way too quick. Started on +2 thinking it's the same as event version, went back to +1, now back to -2! -2 here feels more like what I played at the event almost. I'm really unsure now whether it's the tv or me or them speeding it up in this demo because it's only 5 mins.

Clueless.
Sorry dont know if you've been asked. Is the response time way better on the 90% code? Thanx bro

Well it wasn't perfect. Unsure about this. Refined yes but still slow. But said to myself rather have this than have it unrealistically quick.

-2? OMG!
I would fall asleep if I had to play it on -2.
It's just a matter of tastes though, and it's a good thing we have the slider.

+1 is great for me.

I don't be rude but how it's possible to lost two the most famous stadiums in the world like Camp Nou and Bernabeu which they had it for years and give us stadium from Saudi Arabia:SHOCK:? ok it nice to have this kind of stadiums in Pes but first they should have more famous and atractive one than this kind of egzotic. Barca, Real, Milan etc have fans in all on the world, Saudi only in this country. I cant understand this kind of politics:FAIL:

Problem is its all you see for 90 mins. No thought or guile just thruball and chase.

How many players irl can simply outrun a defender with the ball at his feet and also not run out of steam for the next 50 yard dash. If you look at Messi he has to beat a defender and sometimes beat him again. Its rare to see a striker runaway from a defender like the road runner running away from the coyote

I repeat vary your play and sprint when the situation allows it

+1

i have been on a reader of this forum for some years now, and generally the poster 'zeemeister' is wrong 95% of the time

This must be every football gamers wet dream, but you know in reality it'd never work. The lag would be unbearable, people would rage-quit unbalancing the teams, no-one would want to play at full-back etc.

yes, pes games have had a problem with pace players in the past, but seriously, do you really believe the best solution to this problem is to implement a bug that magically makes defenders catch attackers?? :CONF: all it is is fixing a problem with another problem. it's hardly something you should be celebrating

You pissing me off, brother...
Stop telling me what to do. You've never played against me. You have no clue what I do. "VARY YOUR PLAY AND SPRINT WHEN THE SITUATION ALLOWS IT"........WTF? Shut up dude. The catch up bug is there, and it's a bug. It needs to be toned down if not removed altogether.

I've been playing real footbal since I was born. I've been playing football games since I was 6. I've been watching football from as far as I can remember. I know what I'm talking about. STOP GUESSING AND ASSUMING YOU KNOW HOW I PLAY, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY: STOP-TELLING-ME-WHAT-TO-DO.

Lol, no idea why people call it a bug when it's an AI balancing "feature" that was always present on PES (granted that the balance has sucked in the last few years).

I don't mean to be rude but if you can't get the demo anywhere, suck it up like many of the PC Gamers here bro ;P !

The demo will arrive in no time!

No you're not, no problem, but I have already downloaded the demo yesterday even as a PKG file for the PS3 but it does not find the file on the USB stick. I just do not understand, do not know how to get the demo on the PS3, can one help me please? Thank you.

Lol, no idea why people call it a bug when it's an AI balancing "feature" that was always present on PES (granted that the balance has sucked in the last few years).

No bro, it hasn't always been there. But I do agree with you that it might not be considered a bug by Konami, they might actually consider it a feature.

I can't remember it on PES 2013, I've played until not too long ago. I can't remember it being present on PES 6. Not even on the PS1 days. They put it there on some version, like in PES 2012 and 2010 (if I remember correctly).

And I'm sure they put it there on purpose for some specific reasons. Perhaps without it the game would present some big exploits or some bigger bugs so they added it to hide those.

Well I remember it from the PS1 days all the way up to last year where you could break away from the AI but it would very quickly catch-up with you.

The difference is how much limiting it is to the player.

-2? OMG!
I would fall asleep if I had to play it on -2.

+1 is great for me.

After a few games on different speed settings here are my latest findings as compared to the 90% code:

-2 demo feels like 0 90% code. This is why I felt it was sluggish.
-1 demo feels like +2 90% code. These 2 feel perfect for me.

So you all can understand why I went with +2 at the event. But again it might be plasma vs LCD. But this is my experience for the curious ones. Also noticed refs aren't doing a proper job in this demo. Also players don't respond sometimes in this demo.

Lol its all good. I was just taking a dig at the real Abate's crossing skills from last year. :SMUG:
:)
