Right, so the latest #PES2014 code (newer than show floor) is much better. Players are responsive, can feel the individuality more. Good.

Asim is impressed. Good news for his followers.

Calling it hacking is bullshit and offensive to the dozens of talented modders who breathed life into PES/WE for so many years, without them there would be no PES/WE today.
Don't you think you're exaggerating there? Yes modders did do a great job but you're taking away a lot from Konami there. Both of them should be respected for what they've done but that doesn't warrant the community to hack or mod a demo to look like a retail version with tons of teams. Maybe Konami have gone wrong there with less secure code or whatever the case may be. I still believe that whatever layer of security they add, the game will be hacked or modded to bits. It's just nature these days.

Im not sure releasing a demo around retail release date is a wise move. I think this will increase the chance of piracy. Some people will obviously chose to try the full game rather than the demo if they are released at the same time and probably not get around to buying it..just a thought

I still cannot get around the idea of justifying piracy because a demo is late. If it's late then just wait. The game will always be there to buy. It won't disappear a few days later.

A demo just a couple of days before release would be a good decision. A better decision would be to remove all the possibly exploitable content from the game.

From a company's point of view, is it wise to treat a major part of your community so differently from the other because you couldn't properly secure your code on previous years? Not really.

I could be wrong, but I think the negative impact of this decision will be greater than the positive one.

Page 7 ... see the number attached to PC platform? Pretty much summarizes Konami's corporate point of view of PC community

I agree that it is BS that there will be no PC demo before release.

The modding community here is absolutely amazing, and it is the reason I invest time in pes. If not for them, I wouldn't have any footy game to play. They have made so many major improvements that have given life to an otherwise bland/boring experience.

I enjoy the gameplay and feeling of pes overall, but would not bother without the great mods that are provided by the modding community. They should embrace it, like some other developers do, instead of trying to push us away.

Game does look good though, and I am looking forward to it. I am confused about the third kit though. Do all licensed teams have them or not?

Still a few niggles like defender reactions and basic through balls being a bit powerful, but on the whole much better code. #PES2014

This!!!

Last year I played the demo with Jenkey patch and loved it so much I then bought the full game which played nothing like the demo, which annoyed me.

Sadly for Konami a lot of PC gamers will "test" the full release and if their from a lower income region they'll probably just stick to that version after finding a few faults with the game and reasoning that they wouldn't have purchased it anyway(while still playing the :PIRATE: version of course which they forgot to uninstall)

Don't know if already posted but... I think this are great news! :BOP:

Sorry it was already posted!! :COAT:

Doesn't it look and play just like the 2 others we've seen? Don't see much difference tbh. Did you think the same about the others?

this one is played against the AI and you can see clearly that they are very much like pes 2013, for me this is a big let down because I play pes mainly offline against the AI.

I think there's a mix-up here. Modders aren't disrespected. Sure they've done a lot with the retail version for the PC community, but that's different to modding a demo and make a near retail version of it, adding tons of teams, possibly revealing hidden information in the process etc.

You don't see Konami not releasing the game for PC. It's just the demo that is an issue to them apparently. They didn't like what was done to it.

Doesn't mean it is a gospel. It just merely point that the code is ups to his liking, and we all know every people has their own taste. Anyway, it should please his fans since there are quite a lot people clutching on his words.

There's a lot of teams on this demo

CLUBS:

- Santos
- Colo Colo
- Boca Juniors
- Manchester United
- Bayern Munchen

NATIONAL TEAMS

- England
- France
- Italy
- Spain

The problem is the dates we can store the game on Worten. :))

That's why I'll never justify piracy.

The way the demo was raped last year, I understand Konami's decision. It's a form of piracy, plain and simple.

Respect your opinions, and had my say, so I won't say much else about it after this. It was a bit extreme, having all of those teams. That being said, there were no other game modes to try. Due to this, it was definitely still a demo regardless of the number of teams. I enjoyed it, but had to purchase as soon as retail hit, to get the full experience.

Anyways, hope it at least gets changed to come out a day or two before release or at the same time as console demos.

Sorry if I missed this, but can anyone explain the 3rd kit? Are any in the game from default, or do you have to get them via pre order dlc or when they are offered later?

I really hope they have them for all teams, it's only a cosmetic aspect, but it is really a great part of the sport to see the teams wear the different kits and even mix and match shirt and shorts. This cannot be an issue moving forward with this new engine.

And if konami is getting steam code instead "normal" installation as PES 2013, i really don´t buy this game ever! If someone steal for me and get it free. :))

For me this video has got me pumped up even more for the game. And if the code is even better than this I'm in heaven,
I'm impressed :-)

Agree. It looks nothing like PES2013 to me.
Only 'not so good' video from today was official Konami trailer imo. I guess the animations look not that great in close view. But i'm ok with that if they look good on wide cam, like on all the gameplay videos.
