exactly.
if i'm good at anything in PES at all is in taking freekicks, wether shooting at goal or crossing the ball.
honestly i don't need a line telling me what to do because i've learned through years and hundreds (maybe thousands) of FKs taken.. and it doesn't take me too long to calculate distance & trajectory.
if this dotted line works for some people, well.. i guess that's good for them.

I'm all for as many options as the game can give you.
i mean, it's up to you to play your way. even Gran Turismo offers A LOT of sliders that can take it from simulation to Mario Kart-like gaming.

I just hope there are some filters in multiplayer gaming
 
They should let you decide on which part of the ball you want to make contact with and nothing else apart from the power you use
 
If there's one thing that can be said for sure is that Konami don't have any talented marketing-strategist. Regarding marketing they seem like morons. In the first few months they built up some good marketing, with ttalks about the Fox-engine , photorealistic graphics, great animation/physics, talk about the truball-technology.

Awesome stuff, and people really got interested in PES 2014 even to the point of belittling Fifa 14-current-gen-version (and some even next-gen-Fifa 14). Marketing-job was perfectly done.

But that was months ago, instead of building on that good trust and feeling and releasing stuff that only confirms that good feeling or deepens it, they release horrendous stuff, showing off bad AI, bad goalkeepers, bad graphic-quality...

Amateruish to say the least, downright stupid if you ask me. If they don't have anything impressive to show off, then why not just keep silent until they have?

I can see Mustache Man leg's going through the Santos player's. The clipping doesn't seem to be completely eradicated.
 
I think the last video we saw is older than the one before but newer than the one before that, and older than the one before that but possibly newer than the one since the one before that :CONFUSE:

The new Santos jersey says the contrary, on E3 demo it was the "BMG" sponsor, from last year. On these 3 last crap videos you can see the new sponsor "Sociorei.com.br". By this fact these 3 last videos are the recent code. So we're doomed.

After this prove, how Adam Bhatti can even say that these last videos are old code? Really?

Hi guys im from argentina, im think the gameplay of masuda bayern vs bayern, runs on 1080p, in my opinion i like that gameplay, but then konami decides put the game in 720p, and make wrong things on the code, the guys who play pes in the comunities say this say that about the gameplay, and konami listen that guys who playing and say PES6 is the best, but they are wrong, pes 6 is from the past, forget that game we are in 2013 year man, first gameplay of masuda was the future, now konami goes wrong looking the past, just my opinion. see you my friends
 
Anything less then E3 Quality is unacceptable. :SHOCK:

Really is demo time why would anyone pre order after watching a video like that.

I still have great faith but why would they release a video like that the quality is so far from E3, Hope its old code or a fuck up of sum kind.

Tomorrow is gonna be a gameplay HI-RES video recorded by IGN, that is gonna make us WOW ? Adam said that via Twitter. Am i right?
 
This thread is worse than Eastenders.

We are already judging the game on 3 very, very short videos 2 of which where decent and one just about ok, but because its not full of sexy animations and stunning breathtaking music and all sorts, people go Apeshit.

Have people forgotten just how tough Top Player and Superstar can be on PES 2013 and are expecting to see that in action? Or just stick it on regular and actually show the goal you can score using each function?

All this crap about different builds also, shot shitting your pants before you have even eaten anything! Patience, the demo will be a better indication of the games quality they actually buying the full copy is when we will know PES 2014.

I don't want to hear any sob stories about people waiting for years or whatever, there are other things to do in life.

Some peoples reactions, really! Was it it really worth it?
 
Klash, are you using any tweaks with PES2013? I still sort of enjoy it but pretty much every game feels the same. It ends up with me having around 65-70% possession and the cpu just hitting me on the counter.

Just wondered if you have made and changes to force the cpu to keep the ball instead of just moving forward with it constantly?
 
i'm very pleased with latest clips we've seen.

for me only downside is too many pes 2011-2013 menu graphics and fonts.

everything else i find satisfying.

They sit back because they are set to use long ball usually.

I've modified most teams so they all have different tactics, I tend to usually have more possession, not by 60%, depends on the opponent.
 
I don't see how people's outrage today is uncalled for. That may not be how the game turns out at the end but thats whats out there currently and quite frankly, it doesn't look like what was shown before. All this negativity is not out of nowhere.

I saw Adam's post on WENB forums two days ago. He said IGN recorded a nice quality video of an actual gameplay.
