Yes, similar to pes 2013 in animations. A step backward for sure. Maybe they removed some transitions to solve the tank-like inertiz problem.

i don't know, but the way animations link into each other is not so good as previous videos released

yeah maybe they decided to listen to some fifa fans instead the hard core pes fans

Nice vid covering the 'heart' feature. This concept could work really well. I don't care if it's considered scripting. You need a bit of that in sports games to keep it interesting.

Heart is basically a dynamic, in-play extension of the classic form arrows.

But...

Wierd, the game looks far less impressive than the Bayern/Santos clip we saw months ago?

...yes, I agree. Animations and fluidity aren't what I was expecting.

Asim said it too, he is not a Fifa fan. maybe for once they should have not listened to feedback at all...

I've said that from the beginning , what the hell happened with konami that they can't decide where to go with this game and just do what they want and not what the "fans" want, look what happened to pes since the all "pes community" thing , sad just sad.

I mentioned before PES 2013 was released last year, as something I'd love to see implemented. I called it Dynamic Form, but it was basically, the very same idea.

I think Adam, read it, nicked it, used it........

I hope it's more advanced then just "successful pass" etc. For example a cross can be good even though it doesn't reach its target. But PES usually is pretty good with its rating system so I'm pretty confident it will work good.

The freekick dots still look like developer debug options turned on. If they really need to add a visual representation of the trajectory, maybe make something a little more sexy.

I think the Heart feature is a great idea, sure it will have its flaws but its a great concept and I can't wait for this game demo to come out.

So full release date is 20th Sept ? has this been confirmed ?

As far as the gameplay looks. The animations and flow look worlds away from the E3 stage demo. I'm wondering what happened. Looks way too much like PES2013. I'm glad Asim complained. Hopefully they woke the hell up!

I just hope they recorded this video long time ago, before implementing proper animations, and just released it now.
It can't look that bad.

They recorded it yesterday and yes its that bad, just joking , but looks like I am not the only who expected more from Fox engine after these big mouth PR announcement from Konami, who knows maybe demo proves me I am wrong, but I doubt it.

Online modes ?

What happened? A lot of "fans" complained about the response time issues so Konami dumbed down the animations by increasing their speed and taking out "slow" transitions.
To be honest i would rather accept some response time issues and good animations than instant response and average or below-average animations.

Im sure it will look same as the video shows, there been only the case when finished game looked worse than trailer lol (2011 Messi trailer) From the hype start i only hope for better, more balanced gameplay.
Feel sorry who genuinely expected ground breaking visuals and animations.

On the optimistic side glad there is better crowd atmosphere and reactions implementation.

It's the FIFA08 conundrum all over again.

On a more serious note, I find the shooting really weird. The way they players shape their bodies up, the way the ball still seem to float in the air.

I honestly believe that gameplay is very old, konami can't afford to bring a game out like that especially when there puttin alot effort into this years game, I strongly believe when the game is shown properly at E3 we will amazed.

That last Heart video is shockingly bad. Goalkeepers are AWFUL. How can that be?! HOW is it possible that Goalkeepers WERE NOT TOP PRIORITY ON FIX LIST?! KONAMI WAKE THE F**K UP!!!!!!!!

And that dynamic morale/motivation thing, I don't like the idea of this... Stats boosting when playing well... Seriously... Stop this.

Those nets and goalkeepers are atrocious. How the f*** can Koonami release such poor footage?!I mean they try to market their game, don't they?:CONFUSE:

You mean Gamescom; E3 has come and gone mate. ;)

I wonder if anyone else realizes that it's not the animations that are choppy it's the actual video rendering on YT. Look closely. For all the knobs saying GKs look poor, understand that the point of these vids, so far, is to show successful attacking or events that showcase the Heart feature. Just as in FIFA advertisements showing attacking play, Goalkeepers look below average, the same is the case here. Remember that lowest difficulty is almost always shown in these Ads as well. People have short memories.

Finally we can see that feedback applied to a game still in development is really bad. They try to please everyone and mess with the game code.

I preferred a bit more delay in reaction than this jerkiness.
