dont defend a broken game, yes he's absolutely right, crossing is shit in pes 2013,also when it happens to be that the heading system is broken, shooting is a disgrace, u can't play the game well until u patch and tweak the gameplay!!!!that's if u want to spend time on that..i play fifa 13 to make up for loss time with no good pes games, let's see with 2014...
tell me step by step how u tweaked the game to play? did u patch it, tweaked the gameplay???!!!! i couldn't play more than one day pes 2013, i felt i wasn't in control of the movement of the players, the most uncontrollable pes game i ever tried, offline i mean, i couldn't stand it, players out of nowhere turning into a messi and dribble past 5-6 players, outrageous!!i had my tong hanging out, : what the heck just happened...
Zee was a bit too overly harsh and angry with his point.
However I think you have basically spelt out your own downfalls with the game.
i couldn't play more than one day pes 2013, i felt i wasn't in control of the movement of the players,
You just haven't invested enough time to make any judgement on the game properly, you came into the game, expected it to play like the PS2 games did, expected because you know the PS2 games well to be an instant master and then found it was too hard and now your ego just can't take it so its hates on the game.
Instead of coming into a game with pre conceptions and pre programming of what you expect it to play like, you should always treat a game as a brand new product and clear your mind of what has happened before. That is how you learn, don't expect it to fit your egos definition of how football should play, try to explore the game to see what benefits the game and what doesn't.
There is nothing else we can say to this, you might as well just not bother with PES 2014 since it will use the same core gameplay mechanics from PES 2013 with new physics, animations and higher quality graphics.
On PES 2013 just like it was in the old school PES games, the ones before PES6 where it became rather easy,
its all about setting the team up tactically so it plays the way which suits you. If you don't set your team up on this game 9/10 times you will lose, I guarantee you this.
The 'I don't have any control' is the inertia and player stats at work. Unlike in PES6 every player will feel very substantially different, it takes time to develop a playing style which suits your individuals. I have a video of a goal from Bryan Ruiz which will show you what is capable when you get used to the dribbling.
In the first .gif, Ribéry should continue to run until he reaches the ball. There's a high chance the Santos player can win the ball there. If this scene happened IRL, Bayern fans would accuse Ribéry of not offering a good enough performance.
I think the conclusion we can come to on this is rightfully followed on from your good point here.
I think your point is valid. To finish off using your point, its clear at the point where I presume 'Ribery' slowed down, the

button was pressed and at that point Ribery started to sort his feet out and prepare for the cross.
Its clear if Ribery kept running he would of still easily beaten the defender and kept storming into the box which would had eventually lead to him cutting the ball back for Mandzukic, again he slowed down because the cross button was pressed early, there is no reason why if this wasn't pressed he could of just kept on going.
That should clear up that gif.
So that is not 'catch up bug' after all.
