You can get the DLCs by using the Fire Patch DLC installer you find in the Fire Patch 6.0 pesnewupdate page. It installs the DLCs in C:\ProgramData\KONAMI\PES 2014 so you need to manually copy them to the game folder.


That one is an unofficial patch, every patch that isn't in the main website is unofficial. If you check the credits you will see that dido (main smokepatch guy) is not credited. I'm not sure how good that patch is though, haven't tried it.

The PESGalaxy one has the most addons (new camera, many scoreboards, adboards, Klashman69 tactics) but as I said before I couldn't get it working. Some other people in this thread did though. If you ever get it working please let me know, I love PES 2014 but I hate how "barebones" Fire Patch and PESEdit are.

Upon thinking more, I'm just going to see if I can edit overall team compactness because I don't like how open most teams look at the back and how high defensive lines seem to be by default. If I can't do that, I usually spend weeks going through teams manually, to get the game even more realistic.

Thanks mate, will check out his thread. My account has been here for years but I barely used it over the years, so I'm still a noob to majority of the lingo and finding my way around such technical forums. Again, I appreciate the timely responses.

Btw, I've never been afraid of the hassle of complicated patches, as long as I can follow the instructions clearly, I'm gravy. I just meant that I haven't read any comments, at least as of yet anyone talking about the smoke patch. I guess because of exactly what you mentioned about " hassle-free". I know usually Some patches and Jenkey have a track record of making very good patches.
I'm just very naturally curious, so pardon my unclear question prior.

Is there any particular order in which I should install these?

There is no way, because simply most users do not do it. Do not reupload again different patches for helping each other.
Most of users simply demanding: "I want that", "I am need this", "This files are missing", "LOL, your patch links is not working, you just did it wrong" and many
etc ...

For me PES 2014 is the best game after PES 6 (arcade-retro PES titles)...Personally i prefer the version 1.0.0 without any update patch because i think with the patches they destroyed the freedom of the game...So i prefer the version 1.0.0...
Btw it s easy to create patch for PES 2014 because of File Loader (great job by jenkey) and the facegen tool version 2.0 by TwistedLogic...With this tool you can create faces easy and faster...
PES title died now we will have a new type of football game the online football game, so i believe that computer gamers should now look at the older versions of PES. To play efootball online but they also have the option to play and create patches for their favorite old PES for play offline modes etc...
The consoles players are different because they have consoles so they should follow the new type of football games...

Ok, I made some testing and found that the error is caused by the exe after applying the file loader to it, so that's why pesedit works (it apparently doesn't use fileloader). I used the original 1.16 exe and got to the game with all patches, but galaxypatch and PTE are both completely dependable on FileLoader, so by using the unaltered exe you're just playing the unpatched game. However, Fire Patch is a different story. I don't actually know why it uses the file loader altered exe, since it doesn't actually use fileloader, all things are made with cpk files and the edit save, like PESEDIT. Still, its altered exe also unlocks world challenge, so even tho I could load the game by using the unaltered exe, it couldn't load the edited data because it acted like I didn't have the dlc. This resulted in the cpk part of the patch being loaded, so kits, player faces, all of that, but the edited part not, so no updated transfers, wrong competition names and many dummy players, mainly in classic teams. So I thought, "I just need to find a cracked exe that unlocks the dlc", but the problem is that the ones I could find use the steam version of the game, which required some files that weren't present in the dvd version we're using. Ok, that was a problem, but I ended up finding a torrent of the steam version of the game with the world challenge dlc unlocked, so with that I just needed to install this version of the game, install the patch normally and then add the crack also present in the Torrent, replacing the exe that came with the patch and was effing everything, and voila, it actually worked! Apparently everything is working. I dont think I can link the torrent here, but if anyone wants to make the Fire Patch work and is getting the same error we did, I hope my experience can help.

The weirdest things still are why is the file loader version of the exe being installed by Fire Patch when it doesn't actually need it, why is this giving us errors when it works for some people (I searched and found that file loader was actually only updated to 1.12, but people made it work with the following versions by making some changes and adding the yair gameplay patch, and that's the exe that supposedly is being used by the Galaxy, Fire and PTE patches), and the weirdest one: It actually worked for me one random time, I was repeatedly trying to open the game with Fire Patch installed on the dvd version, and between the error, opening a white windo that stopped responding and not opening anything at all, it actually worked one time, but then it didn't anymore, so it's definitely something really weird happening that only someone with programming knowledge can look into. At least I now can play the Fire Patch with the method I described.

I'm now attempting to install the Firepatch and now I'm soooooo confused after reading this post, ahhhhhhhhhhh....

Does anyone know how to make Jenkey's File Loader work with the 3DM crack?

I would like to play on the 1.16 version but sadly the only crack for that version that is compatible with File Loader Is Jenkey's own crack, which doesn't work for me on Windows 11.

Also if anyone happens to have nesa24's catch up tool and could share it here it'd be great, the links to it in this thread are down.

I almost k!ll3d myself after playing PES 2014 for around 50 hours. The slow pace is pleasant, but after some minutes you just realize that your players are running with the hand brake engaged. They don't sprint, they walk fast, it's not realistic at all, mainly when you play with a speedy winger. Not to mention the terrible animations, it seems like they are carrying something on their backs.

The AI is also dogshite, it's definitely not realistic. If you spend the whole match spamming lobbed through balls, you'll score at least 2 goals every match on the hardest difficulty because they can't mark. Goalkeepers are hors-concours in this game; negatively, I mean.

And the shooting... well, it feels like Winning Eleven 2000 and I'm not even exaggerating. The animation is almost the same, it's ridiculous.

Graphics are ok. Far from good, but it's the smallest problem this game has.

Anyway, maximum respect for you guys for enduring PES 2014 for so long. You gotta be brave.

Talking about the "recent" ones (Fox Engine) I would stick with PES 2021 and PES 2018.

By the way, PES 2013, the last PES before Fox Engine, was AMAZING, but it's overrated. The vanilla gameplay is not that good, and I'm saying this because I put so many hours into it, maybe a thousand.

The fire patch doesn’t work for me. I’m using Linux. I only use the datapack that comes with it & combine it with the pesedit patch. pesedit has all kits.

I actually prefer 1.01 gameplay but its whatever you prefer, they are all good.
PES 2014 in general has good spacing across all versions.
2015 onwards is were KONAMI started chasing the FUT money & they changed spacing & pressure.
Kinda why I keep going back to 2014.

Oh, I just wanted to know what actually made the versions 1.01-1.16 different as I'm now getting involved in pes2014. I'm currently on the global editor to adjust how players use weak foot etc...I usually spend weeks/months making all kinds of adjustments, from players-teams, playing style etc.
I actually played the game via free training to see if the gameplay was what everyone that had made positive claims were true or embellished & I must say with smiling delight that I was thoroughly impressed by the player animations when, controlling, tackling, shooting, passing, shielding off players especially.
I do find some of the step-overs to be abit clunky tbf & I do seem to have a slight input lag despite having the input lag fix in the file loader, unless I did something wrong or the graphics resolution is to high for my shite laptop.
I love the ball physics too but I do find sometimes the players don't react to the ball in the way they should and I wonder if I can edit global responsiveness to all players as a fix to this, will test to find out...

1.16 didn't have any gameplay changes, but I think 1.13 did based on this thread so there would be a difference in gameplay between 1.12 and 1.16

Fully agree on PES 13, its just attack attack from the cpu

Yeah i think it's not the main reason, Back then even most cases now, if someone reupload mods & patches they would be crucified. Let's be real 🤷🏻

Reading this almost feels like my experience with the game. This game is simply not ready. Two things i like about pes 14 are the cpu spacing & ref. Other than that it's dog 💩

Sorry mate, rarely online these days. But you can use gcw site above, it's safe site. Been using it for almost 20 years, it's miracle the site is still alive 😁

I wish jenkey shouldve used scene's crack (rld/skidrow) instead of his own. His crack is unstable. Anyone notice some of jenkey's tool not just file loader doesnt work with last win 10 or win 11. It's micro$lop fault removing the ability to run old programs.

This game needs new tool from ground up, like sider. Maybe if someone smart enough to convert sider 3 to work pes 14, it will open more modding possibilities, idk 😅

hey everyone, installed the game with firepatch 6.0 yesterday but I'm running into this issue with the fidelity / texture quality during gameplay. it looks fine during menus and cutscenes (including goal celebrations) but during actual gameplay and replays it seriously drops off they look almost like PS2 era FIFA faces with unreadably pixelated shirt names and numbers.

I've attached a screenshot of the settings.exe that says my available VRAM is insufficient which I suspect is probably telling the game to lower the picture quality, but its crazy to me since my laptop can run PES 2021 very well despite that game requiring 4x as much minimum VRAM.

I'd appreciate any help and suggestions!
