yair, hows the ai? Do teams have an individual playing style? Such as Barcelona's vs Manchester United, for example? Also, what about ai cheating?

It looks like all the Demo 1 advocates (including myself) are eating humble pie and converting to Demo 2. I usually stick to my original analysis but not this time for some strange reason. The only criticisms I would have are that manual passing is very assisted and the game is all attack attack attack.

Let's hope we haven't swayed Konami too much towards Demo 1 in the retail version lol!

Haven't tested that opposite myself but I assume your team shape would be positioned high up the pitch, but with low support the movement would likely be more static with less midfielders and full backs willing to make runs out of their way. Then again because they are already high up the pitch your attacking options would still be more readily available.

By the way, has anyone tested if player support is contextual to the players ahead of the ball carrier? (e.g. CM holds ball, players labelled AM and ahead will make forward runs). Does it have any effect on "support" from players behind the ball carrier? Is this based on player roles, or position coordinates (on the formation screen)?

Yes, player support affects those ahead and behind and alongside. Sometimes player support might not take the form of runs, I've seen players drop back into space to make themselves available away from a marker, but generally it involves making more runs forward.

So I can assume the player support slider is linear (support going forward), and the support range is radial (support homing-in on ball holder)?

I have also been trying to look at what would happen by placing an AM behind a CM, but haven't had results that were consistent enough for me to say I really understand what this does.

Your CM will drop deep and become more box to box getting involved in defensive as well as attacking play, your AMF will get forward more.



Any word on whether there are more than three slots for saving team formations?

In PES 2012 if you use Data 2, 3, 4 etc. you can have loads more slots. I think I'm up to data 9 or something. If you want to keep the Facebook updates and MLO bonus cash, then you can switch a formation in game (by going to the player select and picking which Data it is on) and save it to the data that you use for the FB thing (by going back to player select and switching). Its cumbersome, I know.

And it also made me think "this is EXACTLY why we will always love Pro Evo".

The tactical depth is what continues to separate it from FIFA and long may that continue.

Hi Yair. Can you write how is the ball physic? It is as in demo 2 ? In demo 2 ball physic was amazing. If it is the same or even better it will be amazing:D

What about playing in streaming in youtube? I think there was a boy who was playing in streaming on youtube with the first demo and people asking him questions, checking cameras, it would be great as we PC players don´t have second demo. Yair what do you think about this idea? Thanks in advance what ever you do.
