It would be nice if one-twos had to be timed and aimed more carefully. As it is, people can just one-two up the pitch far too easily, and it's a cheap way to take a defender out of the game - because as soon as the first ball is played the AI forces the defender to sprint towards the man in possession (even if it's obvious that this is not a good idea because there's a runner getting in behind him), so the man in possession can just tap it forward to the runner and leave the defender completely stranded. And usually, none of the rest of your defence seem to notice what's happening, so there's no cover. You don't get proper control of any defender at any point, so you just have to sit and watch the whole defence split open like schoolboys and let the opposition striker through on goal.
