PES 2012 PC Demo talk

Having played 5 games now i've gotta say this is much better than the first demo..

+Ball physics are much better , more zip to the pass/shoot.
+AI movement is very impressive, can't wait to play with the blimp camera so we can see AI runs better.
+Keepers are better.
+Defending is a bit easier for me, i struggled a bit with first demo if i'm honest.
++ Game runs very smooth.

-Keepers could be a little better still.
-Sometimes controlled player leaves the ball behind when dribbling.

Overall i love it... pre order going in this week :)
 
I like it, I don´t know why but I like it. I don´t know what I´ll do this year because FIFA 12 demo is also running very well in my computer.

The CPU doesn't seem as direct as it was in the first demo. It'll still run at you, just not everytime it gets a chance to. So I think defending feels a bit easier because of that maybe.

I experienced the ball being left behind on Demo 1 and I put it down to poor technique of the player. It could be a bug but these things happen in real life so I didn't mind too much.
 
2nd demo is definitely better than the first. A lot more balanced. Goalkeepers are definitely better, I haven't experienced any blunders in 5-6 games. Ball feels heavier, which is good. Also, defending isn't as bloody hard as in the first demo, and you can't simply walk over your oponent's defense in this.

One word to sum it up;

BALANCED

You maybe right about defending Dags,i don't know about the dribbling mate, i was in control of Modric who should have decent technique, but your right this does happen in reality now & then, all players have an off day ( may even be to do with condition arrows ).

I noticed this too, but this happens with low skilled dribblers when i turn too much back/forth (also with r2) or do you mean something else?
Could you please elaborate a bit?

Individuality is back at it's best, players that can't shoot can't shoot like they could in demo 1.
More weight to the players and the stats really come out in this demo 2.
 
Does anyone know whether the default cam is different in this demo? The player models look bigger, or are my eyes deceiving me?

No i mean that exactly mate, but it happened to me with Modric, like i say it may be to do with condition or low stamina towards the end of a game.
 
Seems more balanced for sure and slightly slower, which is great coz the first demo was way too fast.

*Some weird cursor changes still!
*On full manual it seems less accurate somehow. I was perfectly happy with the manualness (?)of Pes2011.
*The blurry effect is really annoying - feel like I'm playing a ps2 when in fact I have a decent pc.
*It's still all way too dark - sometimes can hardly see the players
*keepers defo better
*players dont really run hard for the 1 2
*glad they fixed the long pass on manual - no longer have players turning on a sixpence and whacking the ball impossible distances with impossible trajectory!

I play the WE12 Demo and the cursor switching is PERFECT (semi-auto)

1-2's are outstanding in this game.. Near the box i did a 1-2 with Sneijder to Cambiasso (Sneijder ran forward) Cambi held the ball for a second, and Pazzini came from behind and did another 1-2 with cambi and he ran crossed/past Sneijder > Sneijder then stopped and got the ball back from Cambi > through ball to Pazzini > Goal
In older pes games, Sneijder would've ran through no matter what happened after the 1-2 let alone stop because the striker would be smarter to pass to.
Simply brilliant stuff by the AI-indivuality/teamplay there.
 
Yes pes is defo back this year :-)

Still, keepers are erratic at times. In one game he did a save with his legs, ball stopped under him and he got up and started running forwards without the ball, realised then ran back and picked it up :-P
 
I don't think il be buying pes 2012 from what ive seen, I don't like it at all.

They can talk about improvements all they want but what does it matter if they improve some parts if they ruin other ones.

The close control in this game ruins everything for me, its not even world class players its defenders running when I hold sprint and keeping the ball glued to their feet even more than Messi does in real life come on wtf is that? And im limited to that close control also, if I want to push the ball to the side to open space for a shot I can't, why? because if I press sprint and change the direction to the side ( in older PES games the ball would be pushed a bit further out ) the player still keeps the ball GLUED to his freaking foot all the time, its SO unrealistic and it ruins everything for me, I don't care what other things look like this is unacceptable and I can't enjoy a game like this.

Yep, it's enough to stop me buying it right now. I can understand consoles needing it to cover up the lack of anti-aliasing or something along those lines, but it's really not necessary on a PC. It really looks horrible.

He doesn't have the skills to beat players like Messi because he lacks speed/agility/explosiveness.

Im talking about something completely different, the fact that the ball is GLUED to players feet even when I hold R1 which is supposed to be sprinting speed, how is that realistic? It only limits my options.
I was talking about how nice it would be to have more speeds depending on how much you push left stick and now they gave us even less options because close control seems to be almost the same if you hold or if you don't hold R1.

That means if I want to run towards a player and then quickly change pace and push the ball forward I can't, because he will keep having close control even if I push R1 instead of pushing the ball away.

Yea they added that R1+R2 speed burst but thats limited because I can't really burst in the exact direction I want.
 
Any ideas if we can make the download any smaller for those who already have the pes2012 first demo. I'm hitting my download limit very soon otherwise. I've heard all the gameplay is in the exe.
 
OMG, this demo no2 is total let down... i'm so dissapointed.

after excellent first demo, they ruined everything what was great in this second one.

the game vs CPU is formidable easy!
