PES 2012 PC Demo talk

Well after 2 games i can say , the shots are much easy here in Demo compere preview code, GK maybe..... are.... bit ... better but i'm not sure, they still make easy errors, Demo is much better optimized.

Does the demo have fouls called more appropriately like the pes2011 demo did? Really hoping this is much better this year. Fouls are a part of the sport, and need to be in!
 
Vidic went for an audacious bicycle kick clearence and missed it in my last game. An error which allowed me to score a lob with Ibra. It was a nice goal but a terrible piece of defending.

Have Konami done anything with stamina? It doesn't seem like it.
 
played MANU vs NAPOLI.

NAPOLI played allot of BARCA football. but it looked very cool. i noticedmy players doing stepovers while standing still maybe my controller is broken.

i played 1vs1 on topplayer.

training mode is very good

Much better than PES 2011... I'm loving it.

But... I have a really weird problem... As soon as the match starts and the camera changes to the match camera it seems that everything gets a bit fuzzy :( ... No problem at all during the match intros, clear image until it changes to the match camera...

I'm playing at 1920*1080 on high... Nvidia gtx 560 ti... Anyone else noticed this?

It's on purpose. The graphics can't be as sharp as in the full game.
 
The game look like in blur in Wide cam and in preview biuld..is not sharp and clean. I thought that the demo will be fix it but ,not. Some body must feedback to Konami to make something about it. This hurt my eyes.
 
One of the most annoying things from the last few PES is still there. When the CPU gets a throw in a defensive position, all of your players have magically backed off leaving them loads of time and room to take the throw.

First match of PES since PES6 days for me.

Played Santos (me) vs Peñarol (CPU) on Top Player.

Ended up winning 1-0 with 61-39 possession, not a lot of goal scoring changes though and the goal felt satisfying.

Don't know if I'm impressed yet with the Top Player though, just feels like the CPU presses a lot more making the game a bit more frustrating to play, but have to play a lot more against other teams such as Man Utd and Milan to come to any sort of conclusion... One thing though was that the CPU got away every single time crashing into the back of my player making him stumble over and over again and lost the ball, referee never did anything and it worked 100%.

Graphics look good enough in my opinion, controls feel sharp and stuff.
Shots feel kinda very floaty as if there was no power behind them and keepers felt a bit shaky on long range efforts even though they were floaty and slow. But pace of game was perfectly slow, love it.

Both games this year for me and first PES since PES6, fun to have it back in contention.
 
Loving the game but way too many calls right outside of the box. I mean you can't even touch be touched by an opponent for the ref to reach for his whistle.

sorry lads but whoever said this game was hard must be shit or i must be god in this game because i just played my first game at Top Player level and i just spanked Man united 3:0 playing as Porto!

Other then that initial impressions are GOOD. the pace of the game is perfect and the croud atmosphere is sensational

people, that's the way pes should be. as hard as it can be. ;)

last year people moaned like chickens how game was hard in the demo and we got awful pes AI in full game.

so this year everyone should just stfu :) about it.

the hard = the great!

Hmm... after each game on Demo, i can say... the game is to .. fast compare preview biuld. For me, the prewiev build is better :x now the game is to arcade fast, the shots are to easy and heavy... the passes are not same :x Need more games but.. that is my point on this stage.

Whaat? For me the game is super slow, which is nice. Have you checked the game speed setting in the menus? Even the shots aren't heavy at all, so floaty.
 
Definitely harder than it was in PES 2011! Playing as Milan v Napoli, I took the early lead after Napoli just kept peppering me with shots and Abbiati performed wonders. Turned out they'd just keep going and beat me 3-1 :( :LOL:

Love the feel of the whole match, the movement of the players is far less stiff and robotic, the ball feels completely independent of the players and it feels a lot more 360 degrees than 2011 did.

I can't comment on shooting, I didn't have many chances to get close to firing a shot :LOL:

After one game, hugely enjoying it.
 
I think the game's difficulty is also depends on the "mood" of the players, more than ever. I also had a controled match with Porto against Milan but just lost 3-0 being Milan against Napoli lol
