I played 2 games AC vs MANU and Santos vs Pen. The game feels and plays great but the keepers made two terrible mistakes! First is that he jumped on the wrong direction and let the ball in. The second one is header lobbed over the keeper but he could successfully receive the ball on his "chest!" and into the net for an own goal!!

Playing as Santos, beat Penarol 2-0. So much more space and time on the ball compared to playing Napoli. Also wasn't shitty my pants as much when Penarol went on the attack whereas I completely panicked everytime Caviani ran at me :LOL:

Guys, a quick question:

Would you say those who can play PES 2011 on medium settings will be able to play PES 2012 just as well?
Is the game much heavier in the graphics department?

Because after so much hype and anticipation, if I can't play this, I might just murder someone! :RANT:

Just played a pass, missed the intended target but rolled onto my striker who I was just lining up a shot and the CPU threw itself in front of the shot.

The way the ball went off target but fell to the striker and the block, probably the best moment I've had in my 2 1/2 games, looked so real and genuine. Great stuff.

zlatan is abnormal good, haha, hattrick, long range free kick (lay off), a shot, and a diagonal header from a cross, i must say i does give the feeling of pes 5/6 back, nice vibe, ball motions etc and the new motions for the player movement etc, wow is my word for it,

Just had my arse handed to me again by the AI again lost 2-0. Very hard at the moment to break down, even though i am doing ok with possesion. Just noticed the crowd seem more aware of what is happening on the pitch, plenty of ooh's & Ahh's.

just had a quick go in training mode at controlling 2 players at once,FFS i cant even do the first challenge, very hard to pulloff.

BTW Jimmy on wednesday wear a Bib that will help with the drooling. :...

Ok, so I've played about a game with Santos, Napoli and Porto. First of all I'm disappointed at how easy the game is, PES 2011 took me an age before I could start scoring, but with this I was notching 3 or 4 a game right from the off on Top Player. Not that bothered as online is always there, still, would have liked to have started a ML for a few weeks.....

As for the game itself, wow. The sense of freedom is absolutely jaw dropping, it's the first time I've ever felt I could do exactly what I wanted in a football game. Everything is a gamble or a chance, every situation is unscripted and can result in any outcome. It's staggering. The pace of the game is also wonderful, a tad slower than PES 2011 but with an injection of acceleration for sprinting. Finally you can get away from a marker with a turn of speed, but it never felt once like it'd be abused. Tackling is very much like the demo of PES 2011, in that little nicks and mistimed stab tackles result in freekicks, lovely.

Unfortunately shooting & keeping really let the game down. It's very unsatisfying watching a shot trickle in, and the unusual number of attempts that find their way into the net devalues it somewhat. It's not exactly gamebreaking, but enough of a concern to really dampen the game, I can see a lot of high scoring games resulting from it. That said, longs shots seem a bit more fierce, scored a cracking effort with Guarin, a swerving piledriver that kept low and powerful.

Overall I'm chuffed, it's just a really fluid, seamless experience. I'll be staggered if this doesn't cause a shift in support back to Konami, as it really is lightyears ahead of the competition. And I don't say that lightly, I absolutely hated 2008, 2009 & 2010, while 2011 took a week or two to win me round.

My laptop was pretty average when I bought it two years ago, however runs the game fine on top resolution.

OK , Try running directly away from the camera towards the far side touchline ( bottom of screen to top of screen ) and the animation looks like the players legs are going ten to the dozen but not actually covering much distance.

Tip for the demo go to Personal Data Settings then Player Assistance and turn them all off, stops the CPU doing things for you like tackling and shooting.

Keepers take way too much time getting up from the ground to take a quick throw to get a counter attack going.

And feels like the AI of your own players gets more stupid against Top Player CPU, conceded two goals where both of my CB's just started running towards the sideline for some odd reason (there was one opposite player there along with my Right Back who could've handled the situation by himself), leaving a big space in front of the goal and of course the CPU used it to its advantage, cant blame it but then again that should never happen in the first place. Wasn't pressing CPU pressure buttons either as I rarely use those because of things like that.

Also strikers seem to defend and pressure way too much, how often do you see Berbatov running and chasing the ball for most of the half in the opposite area?! Never I tell you. Here's hoping all these get fixed in the final code, as I see them getting on my nerves enough to not let me enjoy the game at all, against the CPU at least.

Oh and just to emphasize what other people have been saying, the keepers really are shite and some of their animations hilarious.
