There was a better one than the one I had actually, both were from PESGaming I think, but I cant access that site from work. I'm sure Lami had the better one.
 
Is it possible to create link feints for every player?

Agreed on Sandro- a beast.

I also change the formation, I have a diamond strikeforce. Main striker depends on the condition of them, Taison and Sobis, just off to them either side as SS's, and d'allesandro in the classic AMC position.

Plays like a dream.

True.

How did you guys find Muller? I think his style is fantastic. Very quick feet also, can play in most positions passing is crip, can shoot but i had him behind the AMF advancing past Schweinstieger,Klose and Olic. His runs created so much space for others!!

What formation? I'm back to the 5-3-2, I only tweak player support and push the wing backs up past the halfway line. It's coming together now. I try not to edit the formations too much with existing teams to keep the authenticity - I did swap to a diamond with Inter but that's cos it was quite a South American set up (though perhaps a bit more Argie than Brazilian?).

Apparently they have sorted it out this year, which is very good news and means we can create an option file that can be continually improved.

I give up creating updates last year when 3 months of work was lost for an extra pair boots on an update.

Do you know if the upgrading of option files is just a complete option file upgrade or if you can pick teams or leagues to upgrade individually?

I was thinking about this just now. I think Konami have to make the option files modular. The OF is the most old-gen concept in PES. If the teams/kits/stadia were separated from the language options then they wouldn't have to release PES a week later in re UK as it wouldn't matter what version of the game you bought.

I use a similar formation actually. 3-2-3-2, and like you I push the wingers level or just slightly behind D'Alessandro. I up the Player Support to 20, and change Compactness to 19 to give me extra width. I then replace that bellend of right winger Nei, with Taison and make him a RMF ( Only recently tried him here but he has made that position his own), I also put Edu in CF role with Alecsandro , and play Andrezinho in a LMF role as he is doesnt mind using his left peg. I then use Sandro and either Wilson or Tinga in the DMF roles. I play Sorondo (quality and fucking massive) as my central CB with Indio and Fabio Eller either side.

I like Silva and Leonardo as well as subs that usually get a run out or a start if I'm suffering with form. Although, if I'm honest, I keep going in, and coming out of the gameplan until D'Alessandro is on at least a Yellow. It takes me about 4-5 minutes to sort out my formation, tactics, strategies, Management Edit (removing auto-sliding and deleting strategy presets) and then Link-Feints. :CONFUSE:

I cant wait till I can save my full set-up and play my preferred 15 minute games. :)

The best i think i've done is beat a very good united player with Aldershot on Penalties on FIFA 09. I really can't remember beating a very good player with a small team. Just everyone i've beaten with smaller teams have been no better than average!

FIFA 10 was strange, it's easier to win with Leiga Warsaw than with Benfica. Every time i played with Benfica vs a 5 star team i got destroyed because all may players were relatively slow and weak. Their technique didn't seem to matter! :P

With PES 2011 i know for sure, you won't be able to out barge teams to victory and the difference between top and average teams will be all in the technical department, which is how it should be. Haven't seen any huge exploits and pace won't be an issue :) I'm sure Stoke could barge any team in the world around. Shame they can't control a ball :LOL:

Playing with Barca and players like Messi is like trying to tame a raging bull rather than the easy way out like with every other football game i've played. The sprint button isn't very effective just held down anymore, you have to really use your brain and try to unbalance the defender in front of you.

I haven't seen a video of someone dribbling past 4-5 players with Messi. It's because you have really learn how he moves, how sharp he can turn and get comfortable playing with him! The most players I've got past with him is two and that didn't lead me anywhere anyway :LOL: Just got tackled by fucking Schweinstiger who is the most annoying player to play against on this game! He just run's Bayern's midfield and his through balls are LETHAL!

BTW I barley played PES 2010 online man :LOL:

No, thank god. The good thing is that all the naturally gifted technical players or dribblers have alot of the feints anyway as Player Cards, D'Alessandro has loads. Like I said before though Tobi, I've been really testing these tricks and feints with all the players and it's not even worth the time or effort trying to do them with lesser players. They can pull off the move, but they lack the technique and the ball always runs away from them, or they are simply not quick enough to react.

Edit- I never actually link any feints Tobi, I just set one feint for each direction in the menu. This way I know exactly which trick does what, and I can use them as and when.

It's good to hear that Schweinstuber is a rock in the midfield. It's a pleasure to reading these detailed situation reports when you don't have the demo.

Oh my. Wednesday can't come soon enough. Reading all these comments has just made me drool in anticipation. Any ideas what time exactly the PC demo will be out? I'll probably be checking the website like every minute or something. lol

Of course if you want to do it even more realistically then don't use Sandro, who is a Spurs 'player', wherever he is.

I Did the same Jimmy, one trick per direction.

Up = step over.
Down = fake step over.
Right = that chop move that The Canonball Kid has been doing for years.
Left = drag back.

I would like the option to create different sets for different players. I've seen VDV (Gareth Bale too) do the Russian Roulette spin from time to time but virtually no one else in the Spurs squad attempts it.

I just want the option to create an overall set and then change one or two options inside that set for certain players.

I've never seen JD do any of those above tricks in but I'm sure there is a least one trick or feint that I could assign to him from the list in the demo.
 
Rules are odd. It should be simpler: if the ball ENDS in, it's goal. If it DOESN'T, then it isn't. Why the need to make things complicated? When being childs playing in the park we never had all those problems...
 
Nice to see that D'Alessandro is getting the respect he deserves. He has made too many moves and never really allowed himself to settle and be seen.

I recorded a highlight of him tearing Chivas a new one lastnight. He is deadly from the edge of the box with his freekick and I even managed a long range right footer with him. I'll try to post later tonight. I have him pencilled in at No.10 in my ML squad hope he grows at his age.
