PES 2011 Discussion thread

You don't need to enter anything, the PS3 will automatically download it because the PES demo is one of the chosen few per se.

If for some reason it doesn't automatically download then you just grab it from the PS+ section of the store.

PSN+. It's like a premium service for the Playstation Store. Like XBox Live Gold. The chief difference is that PSN+ isn't needed to game online.

Once you have PSN+ go to System settings and set your auto Download time. Mine's 6-8am but that won't do any good for the PES demo I don't think!

Jesus Navas it was a joke dude. I still use the d-pad for free kicks as I feel I have more control. Why is everyone
so freakin wound up lately.
Also, I played with the analogues since PES 6 as it felt more precise to me. But if you want to use the d-pad as many others do.....go for it.

PES 2011's passing is nothing like manual. It's like FIFA's semi-assisted in it's current, very forgiving form - except that if you aim slightly to one side of the player (as you often will), the recipient will take it on their left or right foot accordingly. Oddly I also tried holding L2 and pressing X to manual pass in the beta and the ball was clearly being directed to the recipient. Thought that was odd, as I did have other moments where holding L2 definitely felt like the ball was a bit freer.

There's definitely a lot more to it than standard PES 2010 passing or FIFA assisted passing, but not really enough that a d-pad user would get an advantage.

It could do with more angles, but it's certainly gives you the level of control to pretty much do as you please. Or at least thats how I found it. I also found the analogue stick to be alot more beneficial than the D-pad. If it wasnt, I would have stuck to what I know. I tried to go back and couldnt, I didnt have the ability to find alot of the angles I could access with the analogue stick. I also found the L2 manual alot more free, and found I could hit the space that I wanted quite consistently. I found it to be a very useful weapon when the situation arose.

The memories!

I used to watch that every day when i was 2-4 years old. I remember moving into the house were in now and used to watch every episode which was on TV. Glued to the screen i was.

It's because of this which watch spawned my drawing talent
 
I'm going to wait till the 15th. That's my plan anyway,but i bet i end up getting it tomorrow night!! LOL
