PES 2011 Discussion thread

TBH Konami are just being a bunch of assholes I bought the PC version every year since PES 6. I would call myself a Konami trustfull fan. And now they say "ok, we will give PS+ the game a week earlier, but PC has to wait for 1 week more..." WTF are we talking about? Give the demo straigh... Talking about giving the game back to hardcore fans and that's how Konami treats us?

Sony picks what demos they want for PS+ not Konami.
 
If a demo is available already in 8th for PS3 why can't it be for PC... It's nice to know how Konami likes Pc users...

You do know the PC version even though is similar to the console version, is cheaper. So there you go, Konami does like you ;)

Yes, but Konami could decide to release the PC-demo today if they wanted, on PC there is no submission-process to go through.

There is really no reason why to delay the PC-release that much, none at all.

On the other hand PC-users have many advantages console-users don't have, like for example being able to mod the demo to get rid of the time-limit...

Seems like xbox-live-gold-users won't be able to download the demo until September, the 15th, eventhough we pay extra.

xbox-live-silver-users will have to wait even longer... lucky for them though that they don't have to wait a whole week, just two days more: Microsoft allows silver-users from September 17th until September, 20th to enjoy the same benifits as gold-users!!

Forgive me people, don't mean to rub it in, but it's just that since I've got plus I never felt as excited as now, like having privilege and stuff. Something worth the money that is.

EDIT: Alright stop it with the over sensitivity boys.

Look honestly your taking things way too seriously here. Who cares? Its just a week. Be grateful that we got to play the MLO beta _anderson.

If Microsoft done the same thing _anderson would you still be complaining? I very much doubt it. I think you would be over the moon.

Thats why its good to own all 3 consoles. You get the benefits from all of them. :)

And......? Your game will cost £18, the console version £40. Your game can be patched and edited to incredible lengths, the console version cant. Theres advantages and disadvantages. Just look for the positives in life. :)

Sorry to barge in, but _anderson, really: haven't others done exactly the same thing through XBox's Gold accounts?

The ones who are making money out of the demos are Sony. Microsoft have done it as well since ever. Why the big fuss?

And, as others stated, in 2008 Konami only put out a demo for Xbox and PC, the PS3 guys had to wait a lot as well.

I understand the frustration - and this comes from someone who also doesn't have PS+ - but hey, that's how it rolls. If you would be happier that everyone would only get it on the 15th, then you're not wanting the best for everyone, but the worst for everyone.

Sorry to interrupt everyone's argument. Everyone move along now.

And, by the way, great video editing you did with the game's intro - that was really epic ;)

I would be complaining, yes, but probably not as much. It's not fair. Life isn't fair, I know that, doesn't mean I have to be fine with it.

Yes, it's good to have lots of money too.

EDIT: Jon Murphy confirmed that even for Xbox Gold members, the earlier we can hope for is the 15th. Maybe even later.

What PES does to people... :LOL:

I understand everyone's frustrations and how bad you want to play PES, but nothing we can change. Plus and Live are paid for services, so it's pretty obvious members are entitled to receiving some sort of special treatment. That's the reason they give Sony and Microsoft the extra money. You get what you pay for.

I'm not sure how it can be done for PC users to get some sort of premium services, maybe a live website for PC? Even if that ever happens, we all know what'll happen; the demo will be shared on every torrent for everyone for free. Defeats the purpose.

Anyway, take it easy, 1 week ain't too long. It's not like we're getting a different game to the PC peeps.
