WENB is up at 7pm mate. I tweeted him but he didn't answered. We're all assuming it's mid-september because of a tweet by Konami_ES: "@JAvivi8 a mediados de Septiembre tendremos la demo en PSN y XBLMarketplace.. dentro de muy poco confirmaremos la fecha definitiva".

A head to head demo comparison will be very useful. This year I want to only get one of the two as the last few years I have bought both, but never really dedicated enough time to either.

I reckon it's a good move by konami to release the demo with FIFA or a week later. Reason being PES2011 has been getting the nod from quite a few people and the Fifa fans /ex PES fans are starting to take a peak. One just has to look at this thread. Drekkard, Rom, TikX3 and a few others are finally a little enthusiastic to get a feel of PES. If konami release too quickly or before FIFA, EA has a full week to add to their demo just to sway people a little more. But with Konami releasing with EA the cards are being played close to the chests. I may be completely off the mark here as I do not know the timelines involved with creating a demo but that is what I can deduct in terms of the strategy.

I have just bought PES 6 for the Xbox 360 for £2 :LOL:

Hopefully a trip down memory lane will give me my football fix for a couple of weeks. It will also give me time to get more practice with the analogue stick. See, I'm not just a pretty face :)

I did this a couple of months ago jimmy and went into a state of shock,its a completely different world now and the 360 version has aged badly.For me that game had to much enthasis on super cancels and even against pes2010 feels very arcadie and on rails.

Everything was just more exaggerated and you start to question what you ever saw in the ps2 games in the first place as they just feel so simplistic almost like a one trick pony,just feels like a totally different era IMO.

Dare i say it,pick up a copy of FWC,set the interface to semi-assisted and let the good times roll.Theres even a subtle element of player individuality in FWC(BUT I MEAN SUBTLE).Put your purest setiments aside for a couple of weeks you wont regret it.

Yeah, I kinda felt exactly the same after trying PES 6 on the PS2 about a year ago. I'll give it shot and see what I think, for £2 it's worth a pop, even if it is just to reinforce my beliefs. If that fails, I'll dig out my PS2, I checked my games wallet last night and I have pretty much all the WE games in there including WE6FE.

I have good memories of PES6 for the 360, gameplay-wise it was very solid and the online was smooth. That was the game that got me involved in organised PES leagues. If it wasn't for the fact that the game was so stripped down with no edit mode (:RANT:) I probably would have kept it rather than the pitiful trade-in price I got for it.

i will never sell my pes6 ever. it's a keeper. obviously the best ever football game up there with pes5 together. gameplay-wise, nothing has come close to touching it.
 
well I have junkie syndrome after MLO beta has come to end...I feel sad because I want to playyyyyy

that's a good sign hehe

After playing the MLO Beta, I can safely say that I totally agree with you. PES 2011 is just so much better than anything else we've had before.

The game is fantastic. And this is just from playing the Beta which had some glitches and bugs. I can't imagine just how awesome the final game will be.
