PES 2011 Discussion thread

Players from Brazil, US and South Africa? They shouldn't have this beta; it's for Europeans only. What a waste, they picked my chance away :(

Promising, yes, but the fact that I've had smooth games with people from Brazil and seriously laggy games with people from England says to me that all is not well.

Really? I think otherwise, since I've had a maximum of 3 laggy games out of 50 or so played. I'm not sure if PES 2011 should be jumping into the "deep end" with 4v4 online though, because the servers are hardly being stressed with approximately a thousand people online right now.

Well, that´s strange mate, i am in Brasil and had a lot of laggy games against people from England also, but most of games with people from other countries were pretty good.

I am very satisfy with the online now, different from prefvious years, 2011 is totally playable online and almost as good as playing fifa on manual online.
 
Guys ! Why PES/WE don't have a spacial-limited edition as other big games ?
Maybe something like the new PES 2011 ball + Extra Menu's Backgrounds or balls in the game + t-shirt with Messi's signature + some special Champion League or League Europa DVD with some great moments of the both Cups , why not the Replica of the both Cups and other cool PES stuff.

Thanks for the reply, I will give it a shot when pes2011 comes out, well I'll have to try the demo first, but I like to play like I would in a real field not just find the game bugs. I do the same in fifa which does not always work too well for me lol

seriously no more option to control CPU teams in offline mode? can we not ask for it anymore? why the hell was it taken off?!

wait a minute, i think there's a workaround this? can we just select 20 users for example in the EPL? Hope they have no restrictions on the number of user-selected teams? Can anyone who played pes2010 confirm this? thanks!

I see a lot of people complaining about this now missing feature. It might be a good idea to bring it back, a lot of people seem very annoyed by this."

surprised other forums are complaining about the same issue. who can try passing this information up to JM?

It does. it did last year and many of the previous years, where a "special package" would come with a t-shirt and a replica of the PES ball.

This is a ridiculous moment to ask for it. The game is almost finished; do you want them to start over again?
 
I hope the people who like to firing up the passing button before the player receive and stable them self for the ball would be punished, as I seen in most of the vid, lotsa people do that, where they keep on pressing the pass even before their player had the possession of the ball first, if its a backheel would be a different case but sometimes you can see the player so forcefully try to pass the ball to his teammates that is on his back. In PES2010, most of the passes would be facking accurate. I hope not in 2011.

i believe many from other forums have been constantly asking for it. i don't believe it's the first time they've heard about it. maybe more persistence would shine through? just to prevent users from abusing trophies, to remove that from game-mode is terrible. i didn't know it was taken off after pes6. i remember playing a few weeks of pes2009 and i THINK they still had the option there.

About PES 2011: There you play with all players in some kind of any-role and then you can divide who play as attacking minded player and who as defending mind of player. You can more flexible divide the roles between the players. Then you only need a few players.

I never said u need 6 pl. in club, its just.. 4 pl. are like 2 pl. playing for club in NHL, most of players are CPU AI, its not good, maybe I am wrong but FIFa also started with 5vs5, 4vs4 is not enough its my opinion, but when I consider what kind of problems Konami has with online play its better then nothing, and I dont believe that that 4vs4 games on PES 2011 will have good connection, I remember when NHL 2k9 came with 6vs6 play and it was not playable, its the same with PES, Konami cant make perfect online for more then 1vs1.
 
looks like pes will definetly get a purchase this year from me, i can no longer bare the one touch passing by every player on the pitch, least i know in pes, you need skill to play.

I have to disagree. So I am kind of a cheater if a put all my defense to CB's because I fucking hate that as SB they sold my defense and let the wings as avenues for the Cristiano Ronaldo's of the day? I think you are exaggerating here, I still conceded goals with 4 CB's, it is not a perfect defensive tactic or a exploit. I used it in the past because the defensive covering of my DM sucks and I think first in defense, not in attack.

I would also like to join PEEL, but I dont know if my connection, being a guy from Peru, would be enough. It is worth a try I guess...
 
apologise as i know its bound to have been posted but just few quick questions,

how does the response times of the players feel?

does the play feel smoother than 10?

how does the shootingc compare to 10?

and lastly,
beta share anyone?:P:BOP:

Response times are pretty much inexistent unless there's lag.

Much more smoother than last year, but has a few "Beta" niggles. Reports are that latest code is awesome in terms of smoothness.

Shooting doesn't appear to have changed much, but ball physics are improved (in my opinion) greatly and it feels like older PES.
 
Has anyone who hated PES 2008-2010 and preferred FIFA played the MLO Beta?

Sounds promising so far but I know a lot of reports have come from people who liked PES 10 anyway...would be nice to know if this PES has converted any of the FIFA next-gen converts :SMUG:

Me, but I didn't preferred FIFA. I just kept playing PES 5.
