I'm already getting ready for everyone's disappointment, not that it is exactly flash news, only to those who maybe were turning a blind eye to the whole thing.

i'm ready for the real pro evo fans to give their verdict and say its an update to pes2008 and is still shit....(i hope its not!)

ive finally downlooaded it but it hangs when i double click on the installer....the folder that the installer is in stops responding.... I have vista 64bit ...help

Would be non-sense since Vista is only 64-bits. Would be stupid to pass on the people who has Vista right now...

Small Review of the demo of PES2009. Taken from the german pes-x.de forum

Standard Der Wahnsinn Best PES Ever 2009
Erstes fazit : Der absolute hammer, grandios, sensationell....

Spielt sich absolut sauber, super flüssig, reine Ruckler, nichts. Auch die Replays einwandtfrei.
Tolle Animationen, abslout gute Grafik.
Spielgeschwindigkeit finde ich perfekt. Absolut realistisch. Macht super viell Laune.
TW haben wieder zu alter stärke gefunden.
Was mir sehr gefällt ist die Gestaltung der menüs, sieht ganz toll aus.
Sounds acuh ok, nicht gerade weltklasse, aber ok.

Einziger Kritikpunkt: Der Rasen...Ich frag mich wie der rasen in Japan aussieht. Spielen die da auf nem Acker? Der könnt mal mehr grün vertragen.

Alles in allem macht die Demo einen super Eindruck. Vor allem solltet ihr euch das Vid zum "Legends Modus" ansehen. Das macht einen richtig geil aufs Spiel. Wenn jetzt noch der Onlinemodus ordentlich läuft bin ich sehr zufrieden. Dann wird der ganze Ärger des letztem jahres vergessen sein. Dann wird das Spiel das beste PES ever. Wirklich kompliment an Konami, klasse Spiel.

Small translation:

First impression: The game is terrific, sensational ...

The game has a very smooth, flawless gameplay. Also flawless replays.
Great animations, absolutely clean graphics.
Game speed perfect. Very realistic. Makes a lot of fun!
Goalkeepers are much better compared to PES2008.
The menus look greeat, especially the design.
Sound is also ok, no worldclass sound, but ok.

Critic: The turf. Wondering how the turf in japan looks like. Could be much more green.

Altogether the demo is a great impression. Especially the vid showing the "BaL-Mode" is great. The best PES ever. Compliments to KONAMI, great game.

Nach einem Dankeschön an sickntired für den supergenialen Downloadalternativmirror (RS), mein erstes Fazit:

Performance:
- hinterlässt einen guten Eindruck läuft unter meinem *ACHTUNG: kopfeinziehen* Vista 64Bit System ohne Probleme, obwohl dort die Installationsroutine lange dauerte, was aber das Spiel verschmerzen lässt
- bemerke keine Ruckler, allerdings ab und an mal eine kleine Schliere am unteren Bildschirmrand beim automatischen Abspielen von Wiederholungen
- Ladezeiten sind auch nicht der Rede wert

Grafik / Animationen:
- Grafik ist völlig in Ordnung und meiner Meinung nach um einiges besser als bei der Konkurrenz
- Kamera(Weitwinkel) zu weit weg gezoomed, erinnert mich stark an FIFA, lässt sich aber sicherlich inner Vollversion einstellen
- Animationen durchaus gewohnt nett, auch wenn ich noch nicht alles gesehen haben kann

Sound:
- Musik oke
- Spielsounds gehen soweit auch in Ordnung (wird später eh mit "meiner" Musik übertönt, allerdings dickes Plus im Gegensatz zur FIFA Demo, da abstellbar!

KI / Spielgefühl:
- KI auf "Fortgeschritten" eigentlich sehr gut, nutzen viele Chancen, verpatzten aber auch einiges, ebenso wie der Torhüter
- spielt sich flüssig, macht Spaß

FAZIT: Alleine anhand der Demos weiß ich jetzt schon, welches Spiel dieses Jahr von mir gespielt wird und das ist PES

Ok, let's see.

Performance:
- makes a very good impression. runs on a Vista 64-bit PC. The installation routine takes verylong, but the playing the game is worth the waiting.
- no frame rate drops. graphics are very smooth.
- the time for loading the game is also ok.

Graphics:
- Graphic is totally ok and in his opinion better than FIFA.
- Camera is too far awy, but is configurable in the final release.
- animations are good. but he hasn't seen all.

Sound:
- sound is ok.

AI/gameplay:
- AI is very good, makes a lot chances, also the golakeepers are improved, but still make some silly mistakes.
- plays very smoothly. makes a lot of fun!

Eh eh funny how a guy with "FIFA09" in his nickname download pes demo :D In old times when PES was "pES" I didn´t even want to see fifa :)
