Paul√ / Paulv2k4 FC26 Gameplay Mod v6+ (The fun and realistic mod by a FIFA/FC Veteran) - TU1.6.2

Thanks for the quick updates!👌
Yes, at first the ball would bounce way off the players when it first touched them or when it accidentally bounced there, but now it’s much better. Obviously, there should still be a difference in how a player with a 60-65 OVR handles the ball compared to one with an 80-90 OVR.

I left out one small thing: the offside rule.... The ref almost never calls it back when there was a foul and it’s unclear who will get the ball—of course, the ref doesn’t call it back when it’s not me. It’s just a minor detail, of course—referees make mistakes in real life too, so it’s not that big of a deal. 🙂

I’ll test this new update tonight to see how it turned out.
The main thing is that someone is working on it, and since the PES series is… well, you know…😕 At least we can enjoy soccer with FIFA mods!🫶

After a few matches, I have to say I’ve played some really fun, varied, and tough games. It was enjoyable, and the difficulty level was just right.

However, the AI hasn’t committed a single foul, even though I maxed out the sliders to 99—nothing 😅 So I need to find a middle ground somehow, because it’s weird that they aren’t committing any fouls. As a result, there won’t be any injuries either, unfortunately....

The other thing I noticed is that passing feels a little different—I think it’s a step in the right direction—but when I barely press the pass button and the player is just a few meters in front of me, the ball barely starts rolling... You can get used to it, but when you want to pass a little faster, you have to hold the pass button down harder and longer, but by then they’ve already taken the ball away.

So it’s much better than it was, but the AI fouls should be brought back because they’re currently missing 🙂

We’re looking forward to the update! Thank you!

On the intercept first touches:
I preferred them being a little more random and dramatic but I am testing it with them a little less and then increasing to a level where its random rather than all of the time

The idea of randomness when receiving a pass is brilliant. In previous versions, I encountered random situations due to the ball's freedom of movement and unexpected bounces.

Perhaps the level of randomness could be adjusted based on player stats, making that margin shorter.

For example, with Messi, I've had cases where he intercepted passes from a meter away, and the rebound was incredibly long. Conversely, a 60-meter air ball could be perfectly controlled by a player with a low average rating.

I tried the latest version after 6.1. What has changed? The CPU is more powerful now, but it could still be "smarter."

One thing that remains is that the AI still doesn't make any mistakes at all.

There’s still that tiny annoying glitch in the passing system: if a player is close by and I tap the pass button slightly, it rolls the ball right in front of them, so you can’t make quick one-touch passes.

Otherwise, as I wrote earlier, everything else is much better than the original.

I’m putting the game on hold for now, because the lack of fouls takes a bit of the fun out of the game. If it can’t be fixed so that players slide in smartly when necessary, then let’s stick with the old rule where everyone slid in from behind. 🙂

Hi guys,

Version 6.8 is now available, with changes to fouling and player balance. You will see in my video, there are a lot of fouls for both teams. There are still tweaks to be made, especially fixing the short pass bug and tweaks to errors in passing in general and issues with AI and difficulty in general but its starting to be really fun.

Hi Paul!

I watched the whole video, and a few things have definitely changed for the better in the game. There are still fouls, but it’s not just about sliding in—it’s about fouls caused by physical contact or stepping in. As I see it, there had to be physical contact for it to be a foul, but it’s pretty funny how players often fall on their own even though they didn’t touch anyone or barely did😁 I guess this is the middle ground—to have fouls and injuries?! It’s just funny how tough English teams sometimes fall over like sacks of potatoes in their own penalty box🙂

Another observation is that I think the AI still gives the ball away too much on Legendary difficulty; I think it could be smarter. For those who find it really hard, they’re already lowering the difficulty.

My other question is about the sliders—if I adjust them, does it affect the game or not? For example, I turned aggressiveness up to 99, but nothing changed last time; there were no fouls, right?

Thanks so much for the work! ✌️

I tested version 6.9 for a few matches, and well, the video showed that you were committing fouls, but even after a few matches, my record was still 1-1 fouls... The CPU has gotten stronger, so I think the difficulty level is good now, but the AI plays really stupidly—you can easily get past it in midfield and create scoring opportunities. That’s why they need to play even more aggressively. Also, they give the ball away a lot when there’s no reason to. The goalies are pretty clueless too—I easily scored 6–8 goals in a 6-minute span....

So these are areas that could still be refined:

- CPU more aggressive/smarter
- GK stronger
- Physical contact

This mode is absolutely perfect and amazing, but there's one big problem with it.
The main problem is that the shooting speed is far too fast. If the shooting speed is significantly reduced, this could become the most realistic mode available.

Is there a way for me to lower only my shooting speed? Even if I change the shooting speed slider in the game from 50 to 1, the shot is still way too fast

After version 5.0.13, I think this is the best one so far.

+The difficulty is fine.
+CPU aggression is okay (there are normal fouls)
+Physics are okay, but there are still instances where players fall on their own

Things that need to be improved, though!

-Pace (a bit too fast)
-Goalies—way too many goals are scored in matches; even easy shots go right in. The goalies’ defense needs to be stronger!

We’re back on track—thanks again!

If these could be fixed, I think we’d have nearly perfect gameplay!

Hi,

I really like it (V6.10), but I feel that there's too much Fallon D'Floor, at least for my taste.

It needs to be toned down a bit, for it to feel more realistic, I believe. Right now it's happening very often, even with players that are not involved into direct ball play, and the ones that are and are intersecting, sometimes start this chain of falling down, like 2-3-4 players just tripping over each other.

Ideally, but I am not sure if this is achievable, it should happen with purpose, like for example slips of defenders vs very quick direction changes of a fast winger (sometimes), less than now when shirt pulling (a player is not always going to fall down when his shirt is being pulled), if a players runs too fast during rainy/snowy weather and tries to stop suddenly or suddenly change direction etc.

Otherwise, I enjoy it very much, it's one of the best gameplays that I used, and I tested a lot of them.

Thanks

Version 6.12

Everything is better now!!!
Exciting matches!

But the fouls have almost disappeared again... :(
No pulling, no sliding....

They should bring them back—then the gameplay will be perfect!

Hi guys,

Version 6.12 is now available

Changes:
- Minor changes to falling mechanics
- Small increase in Goalkeeping ability
- Slightly slower the shot speed in some cases
- Slightly increase the shot error in some cases
- Small changes to AI decision making
- Increase in first touch error for naturally difficult touches

Very good version, the flow of movement with the controller is excellent, the transitions are incredibly smooth.

I love the random events when the ball comes loose after a player falls or collides with another player.

The fouls are fine; occasionally, my player's slide tackle on another player is called a foul when it isn't, but I think it's okay. You just have to manage when to slide tackle and when not to, and where.
