First of all: Make sure that you start the Live Editor from within the FMT. I'm not on my gaming PC now so i can't look it up, but there must be an option to start the game via LE.

Ingame you hit F9 and under "Miscellaneous" there is the option "Speedhack". Set it to 0.97 or whatever you like ...and voila!

Hi Paul, tried with new updated gameplay mod today morning through FMM with mentioned settings as advised, seems when I get into game the ball size is larger not sure what I have done wrong here I only use your gameplay mod Serie A license mod and your mod is highest priority.. something not correct

you must play in competitive mode and not in authentic mode

Yes, I noticed. Ok, no slowdown in the menu, thanks.
I noticed that it slows down, and you can play around with the sliders to give the CPU more aggression, even though the movement isn't frenetic. A really nice discovery. Thanks again!
 
First impressions on beta . WAY too much first touch error... There r many occations that perfect technical players with 90+ control are straight receiving the ball and with absoloutely no reason they control it with pushing it like 1 metre front . Passing error is a little too much too. Defensive lines are too high , i constantly finding my self in 4 vs 3 situation and i score easily 4-5 goals in legendary -semi . I like the speed . Fouls should be given a little more easily , depending the situation . Running with the ball should be a little more difficult ( depending the player ofcourse) . I wiil play another 5 games to see if it was just the opponents i faced and i ll come back
 
@Paul-v I'm having problems the game crashes game in English hip champions but if I put your gameplay the game crashes after the game starts

I completely agree. I love everything about it: the ball, its weight, the players' momentum, the speed of the game. But there's one unplayable flaw. The first touch after controlling the ball is impossible and ruins the whole experience.

- I am dropping support of this mod for Frostbite Modding Tool (FMT) until I finish the rework of it and finish support of other games. I have big plans for FMT but I really don't have much time right now. I (and Anth afaik) will continue to use it though.
- A lot of things are happening in the FC "community" that are pissing me off. Lots of rules bending, lots of double standards, lots of Patreon, lots of BS / misleading "facts" spread about etc. It makes it very hard to want to be a part of, its a very toxic place to be, to be fair, the internet is very toxic nowadays, which is one of the main reasons I took a break back in FIFA 22.
- FC 26 1.2.0. updated the anti cheat. I am very concerned they will eventually block all mods. We are very lucky that the bypass FIFER paid for (continuously pays for? I havent asked), for FET/FMM still works. It broke my own one for FMT and I have no idea when I will fix it.
- I plan on playing another favourite game of mine that goes 1.0 tomorrow for significant period of time (it can take months to complete). I will try to keep this mod up-to-date when I can.

Definitively, there is nowhere on the Internet where FC 26 is associated with joy - only negativity. This is a reflection of the culture associated with the game, not the game itself. Video games (like life) will always be imperfect. These psychological factors do influence our enjoyment of the game. In fact, they literally worsen the game as developers modify the game based on the negative feedback, usually to our detriment as simulation players.

Paul, I wish you enjoyment and satisfaction wherever your next steps lead.
 
@Paul-v Thanks for your work till today over all the years! I completly agree with your observations about the internet in it´s fullest. So many people are around having found a second home to be just hater and dropping others with words down to the bottom. Discord is one of the worsest places between some exceptions in some channels. To have zero to fear on consequences while talking toxic in the internet made many individuals kinda "strong" while irl they are grey mouses.
I, playing barely FC 26 the last weeks. It´s becoming a hard task to set a decent Mod load order up while calculating which mods I need or want and which I don´t pay for because a round about setup like let´s say 3 or 4 years ago with many quality mods which was free have now payment force. How will a average full time working man or woman can pay every month the amount of let´s say 4 or 5 mods to have an nice mod setup?!
And a full Patreon FC Patch costs around 15 or even more euros. Playing right now older FIFA´s like 17 or 18 with less mods but they all are free and the base gameplay is much better imo than a default FC Game ones.

Well, take a hiatus or whatever is feeling right for you and when you come back than we will check back in with you! It´s nothing that refreshing than taking a break from things that alters the mind, body and soul in a fu##ed up way.
 
Please, could someone please fix the first-touch issue with the controller? It's a real shame I can't play it because everything else is perfect. Is this happening to you too? I can't be the only one who can't play.
