MADRID, Spain (AP) - Real Madrid signed Sevilla defender Sergio Ramos on Wednesday, the day of the deadline for offseason transfers.

Madrid agreed to pay Sevilla between ?25-27 million (US$30-33 million), news agency Efe said. That is close to the ?27 million (US$33 million) buyout clause in the 19-year-old Spain rightback's contract.

Uhm yes...

Benfica coach Ronald Koeman felt his team was lacking a physical presence in attack and asked if he could have Karadas back.
Perrin has accepted the request and Karadas will now look to prove to Koeman he was wrong to sanction his loan in the first place.

EDIT: Now he's staying at Portsmouth (Porstmouth) <--Karadas--> (Benfica) :lol:

I thought it was going to happen, they sold Lee and Bouma, and a few days ago Reiziger said he wanted to be back in Holland.

OMG!! Madrid Radio and TV announce Ramos deal is finally OFF and it won't happen, as Madrid sign Frank Lampard for 45M€. Repeat: Ramos stays at Sevillla, Lampard to Madrid for 45M.

As.com says Lampard is off to Madrid. Will get number 11 (the one that Owen leaves). 45M plus Mejia.

about Simao, Liverpool offered 12M, then 15 plus Cisse, then 18M. benfica decided not to sell him,because he is the captain and a bit hard to substitute at this time

argh....arsene wenger has like £20 million left to spend....why doesnt he go after the likes of galasek, sneijder, gattuso and rosicky. We may be one of the best attacking teams,if not the best, in europe but even charlton, boro and bolton have more squad depth than us.(no offence)

Yeah, I got punked with the Lampard thing, sorry. :(

Snejder and Galasek would be great for Arsenal. Their midfield is a little empty without Vieira.

BTW, as of now, 22:41 GMT+1, Real Madrid have not signed Ramos.

whoa thats a bit far fetched!!

12m...yes, 15m plus Cisse?? your having a laugh liverpool arent think cisse cost 14m there not gonna use him as a makeweight in a deal and 18m liverpool wouldnt pay 16m for owen even if your talking euros then the cisse option is bananas

It's done. Ramos at last has gone to Real Madrid, with eleven minutes to go!!! :D

Eight year contract. 27M€ (wow). So good for us. :D
