Fadiga was released by Inter months ago, somehwere midway through last season due to medical problems.

Le jeune attaquant international anglais d'Everton Wayne Rooney sera finalement bien transféré à Manchester United, où il passait un examen médical mardi. La nouvelle a été confirmée par les deux clubs sur leurs sites internets.

Dans un communiqué à la Bourse de Londres mardi, le club mancunien a également annoncé l'existence d'un protocole d'accord avec Everton. Il semblerait que le transfert puisse être officiellement conclu avant l'heure limite de mardi minuit.

Le montant du transfert s'élèverait à plus de 37 millions d'euros, selon la dernière offre faite par MU samedi. Ce qui le placerait en troisième position des acquisitions les plus onéreuses faites par un club anglais, après les 43 millions d'euros par Manchester United pour Rio Ferdinand et les 41,5 millions d'euros déboursés, également par MU, pour Juan Sebastian Veron.
