Riquelme is at Villarreal for another season I'm sure.

P.S. why can't you just pick one team? Call me a cynic but it's laughable to refer to these players as "ours", the club as "we" etc, and call players by their nicknames when you 'support' 2 other clubs as well. Don't take this the wrong way proximus, I just find it a bizarre approach.

I like footie a lot Classic, i support Spurs mainly, altho i cant afford to go see them in London. Barca and Milan i've followed since the early days of Gazzetta on C4, and when at school talkin with Marco, me mate from Napoli...

I simply get involved as much as i can mate, soi when there's a situation goin down with one of the 3 i feel like i'm... "there", dude.

Am I just being really thick? Here's how I see it.

1. Someone asked if Eto'o had 'entered Barcelona'.
2. You quite rightly took the piss out of their lexical choice.
3. I asked if they were playing with five forwards next season. Obviously not true, I meant five offensive players really.
4. You said they didn't have five forwards then ommitted Eto'o from the selection.
5. I pointed out that Eto'o would surely be an option up front.
6. You somewhat strangely referred me to your initial post about Eto'o's Barca-gay-rape.
7. I got confused.

So am I to take from this that Eto'o hasn't actually joined Barca? The Guardian website seem to think that it's pretty much done and dusted. Or did I miss something?
 
He hasn't signed, no :)

It was a pure and simple pisstake, in the style of..

"huh huh.... huh.... he said enter" :mrgreen:

It's still only speculation. Di Vaio is better yes, but Simone is quite cheap 1-2 million euros + the loan of either Kapo or Zalayeta would be enough.

DV was sold because Juve for the first time in a decade have made losses and the money helped in getting Emerson. It's not going well for Juve I fear... reaching the CL is crucial, but there's a good chance we will fail..
 
Someone needs to assassinate Del Piero so that Capello won't *have* to play him at all times even when he has three broken legs.
 
I heard that he ran in, bum raped the entire Barca playing squad as well as the back room staff, then ran all the way back to Madrid and hid wretchedly sobbing in a cupboard.

I'm sure a few old members of the Evo-Web Fantasy League (R.I.P!) will remember that the boy Laporta got upto some sneaky rear entry on the new signings... ;)

Other news today, Crystal Palace have sealed the signings of Gabor Kiraly and Fitz Hall.

vieira not going is the best news i heard in ages. but its not over untill the end of the transfer window. its not good that madrid are taking englands best players. it also makes the spanish league better
 
i think those that underrate Owen are extreemly unfair.

When was the last time owen recieved the ball to his feet? Half the time he's made to chase lost causes and try to score them!

This is especially the case for England. I think Owen could really ramp up his career at madrid. He'll be being fed by his mate Becks and world class players like Figo and Zidane. Not that gerrard wasn't, it's just it wasn't enough. Gerrard alone can't do this.

Bitter liverpool fabns may say well he wasn't that good anyways and we don't need him, but that would be incredibly synical and ignorant.

i wish the kid the best of luck in the harsh world of Real Madrid

Im loving the signing of Owen....!

Hope he keeps Morientes and Ronnie on the bench, partners Raul and delivers shit all between ther pair of them!
