What happened with Eto'o -> Barca? I read recently that Mallorca had accepted a bid and Real Madrid had a week to decide whether to buy out their half or sell up.

Not true, Mutu has just arrived in Ialy ;).

I guess your news is a bit old as today the news was swinging from staying to leaving.

Mutu hasn't trained with Chelsea today either so..
I think you're wrong m8 ;)

I quote the sentence from soccernet.com:
"The proposed loan transfer of Adrian Mutu from Chelsea to Juventus has fallen through because the clubs failed to agree terms, the player's agent said on Friday."
As you can see, the news isn't old...

Here's the link: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/headlinenews?id=306324&cc=5739

they just said its official he arrived in Torino.

ive heard that Lecce are following asian cup top scorer and bahraini superstar Ala'a Hubail... i heard this during the 3rd-4th match in the asian cup commentery.. but i couldnt find it in any website...

Murphy (Liverpool) --> Tottenham £3 Million

That would be a superb move for Tottenham and a suicidal one from Liverpool. Murphy is only second to Gerrard at Anfield. Most underrated midfielder in the Premiership.

Liverpools new manager is a bit loopy...

Rumour in Belgian papers:

Flavio Conceicao (the one from Portugal, not the one from Brazil) from Porto to Standard de Liège.

BBC seem to think Owen is on his way to Real Madrid, with either Eto'o or Morientes + cash going to Liverpool.

i hope it's eto'o!!

Cisse- Eto'o-Baros: imho Liverpool would become serious contenders for the Premiership title.

And by the way Beetlebum: thanks...

£10 million + Eto'o!!??? And Owen only has a year left on his contract!

That is crazy, I thought £10million would even be a lot when he is in his last year.

Birmingham City have completed the signing of former Tottenham star Darren Anderton.
Anderton has penned a one-year deal at St Andrews.

The 32-year-old has been looking for a new club after being released by Tottenham at the end of last season.

Anderton had been training with Birmingham in a bid to keep fit and Blues boss Steve Bruce has decided to offer him a deal at St Andrews.

A number of other clubs expressed an interest in Anderton, but the former Portsmouth star has opted to stay in The Premiership with Birmingham.

I'm ecstatic with this. I don't know where the rumour is from but by god I hope it's true.

If Liverpool get Eto'o, forget Arsenal, they have the fastest striker partnership in Europe, let alone the Prem. Looks like Morientes is headed there though, so that's a relief.

However, i fear Owen could get worse for England, a la Becks, if he goes.
I think the only reason Beckham's international performances have dropped is because he is being played out of position at his club.
