Don't get me wrong I heard of him but IMO he'll not get his chance at Manutd as Bébé, Obertan, De Laet etc etc

Yassine Bounou (Wydad Casablanca) ---> Atletico Madrid B

http://www.clubatleticodemadrid.com...noticia/noticia1.php?idnoticia=33823&previo=1

Really promising Moroccan goalkeeper (will go with the olympics in London) sad that Wydad didn't want to give him the 1st place (they have the 1st Moroccan NT choice Nadir Lamyaghri which is a very good one actually but he's on the way to finish his career :\)

A vidéo about him (and sorry for the long post :D)

YouTube - Hommage Yassine Bounou - Hasta la vuelta..... 1937

End of a legendary career how did him, batigol, Redondo, lopez, Ayala and zanetti not win a world cup under Marcelo Bielsa.

Tiredness. Redondo wasn't there and instead of picking Crespo and Aimar Bielsa persisted with his old favourites for too long.

In a way I am glad he is retiring because you never know with the seleccion coaches at the moment they might just decide to recall him.....

Moving goodbyes indeed i really liked him he was Rough yet Elegant one of football legends and part of Chelsea ones also even if his spell was really short
It seems everyday we're loosing these Legends & getting more morons & guidos such a shame :(

Here in Argentina, he's only loved in Estudiantes LP... everyone else dislike him, or directly hates him for what he did in Japan 2002 (we have italian blood, so you know, we can't forgive easy)

What did he do in Japan 2002? I know Argentina didn't pass the group stage, but why would Veron be more to blame than the other players? I clearly mised something.

How does that offend Argentinians with Italian blood? That he faked his Italian roots?

I'm confused.

No, it has nothing to do with his passport. Is about his "sold out" against England during the cup... it was so freaking obvious, that he was able to return in 2006, and even so, most people haven't forgotten. To say more, in the recent anniversary of the Malvinas (Falklands) War, there was football, and in many stadiums the people showed banners about it.

And, about the "blood" thing, I just say that because, Argentina recieved plenty of Italians, and many people here are descendants, and we share their character, mostly the "not easy to forgive" thing...

He's not a legend, not an hero, not a role model, not even a "likeable" person... at last here.

Argentinians pretend to be Italians, like if it was a good thing hehe.
don't get mad viejo.. my wife (and her whole family) is italian, that's how i know
