not realy a transfer but Karim Guede will be avileable to represent my country, Slovakia for next qualification matches.. he´s a Slovak with heart so it will be first time in history someone not born here will represent my country.. i wish him good luck :)

he was born in Hamburg in West Germany and now he will first time represent, he´s playing for Slovan Bratislava ;)

This guy is impressive I have to say! From what I saw, he could well become the world's #1 CB in next 5 years.

I don't think so, Knoxville. Ricardo Carvalho isn't getting younger so Varane could be the next CB in a couple of years. I think he was very smart in moving to Madrid, Carvalho could be his mentor and help the young french player to develop his game. I'm very excited with this deal. In fact, I'm loving all Madrid moves so far, I guess signing policy is changing at Bernabeu, we landed Sahin and Varane, two amazing hot prospects who will be giving plenty of time to adapt into team's philosophy.
 
I agree with you Andre, but the big question is wether both Varane and Sahin will have enough patience. I guess they will not play every week...maybe they are both bought as back-ups...
But yes, IMO it's better to buy future stars than buying over-saturated galactico's...

This is also good for football...well done Real Madrid.

In my honest opinion, and previous experience.. i think this guy would make so much better move to PSG, where they are building a team now.. where he would start maybe..

EDIT: also Real squad looks quite big now.. depend´s on how many players they sell..but Varane is very young and could be loaned in case he needs first team football..

it´s not a bad deal for Madrid, but imo he could wait and improve in better France team like PSG..
