Why Juventus says Trezeguet will sign a new contract and stay a lot of years with the team but is looking for his substitute (Vieri, Gilardino,...) maybe for getting more money from Barça ??
 
Mido claims Magpies move


Mido has been in talks about a move to Newcastle
Marseille striker Ahmed 'Mido' Hossam claims he is on the verge of a move to Newcastle United.
The Egyptian forward, 21, who is known as Mido, has reportedly already met with officials at St James' Park and is keen to move to the Premiership.

A statement on an Egyptian football website said: "I've reached agreement with the prestigious club of Newcastle.

"The management of the club are in talks with Marseille with a view to securing an agreement."

Vicente in Juve call Tuesday 22 June, 2004

Spanish winger Vicente would consider joining Juventus if he doesn’t extend his contract with Valencia.

"We still haven’t reached an agreement over my extension," said the 23-year-old. "I am now waiting for Valencia to make an offer that is worthy of my ability.

"I want to stay here but I’m currently one of the lowest paid players in the team. Hopefully my agent will resolve this problem."

Although the midfielder would like to remain with the Spanish champions, he is aware of the interest from Juventus.

"A lot of clubs are after me," he continued. "Juventus are a prestigious side and they have a great Coach in Fabio Capello."

The new Delle Alpi boss has been impressed by Vicente’s performances for Spain at Euro 2004.

Although his side didn’t get out of the group phase, Vicente did have a good tournament on a personal level.
