Wow! OM with a real coup! But he still has to adapt and adjust, let's see how he does in Ligue 1.

As for Jimenez to Benfica for $8.5M! I'm in f'n shock! This guy BETTER be good cuz otherwise if his value is same as Azpilicueta, there's something fishy going on! :LOL:

César Azpilicueta Tanco (Osasuna) ---> Olympique de Marseille (4 years, number 2)
Bakari Koné (Olympique de Marseille) --- Lakhwiya (Quatar)
André Ayew (Arles-Avignon) ---> Olympique de Marseille (back from loan)
Mamadou Samassa (Valenciennes) ---> Olympique de Marseille (back from loan)
Cyril Rool (Olympique de Marseille) ---> Free

Something weird about Di Maria's deal...Real Madrid already confirmed it, just like Jorge Mendes..but Benfica hasn't confirmed it yet. And we are required to confirm this kind of information.

I don't believe it won't go trough, but still, it's strange. Maybe it was all settled but Benfica wanted to wait until they signed with his replacement to communicate it, but Real Madrid couldn't keep their mouths shut.
Or...Benfica is still negotiating with some player from Real, part of an exchange deal.

Anyway, a little bit offtopic, but.. congrats for your performance on WC PIPA23 ;) You did great..!

Simon Kjaer ----> Tottenham
Edison Cavani ----> Tottenham

Both for 35 mill according to their president. :CONFUSE:

Di Maria went for 25 mill.

Spanish press say Di Maria went for 25M €, portuguese press say 36M €...since it's not confirmed yet, we can't say who's right yet.

Are you sure? I read that Zamparini said that he would accept a 35mil euro offer for BOTH players. But nothing official.

I read Zamparini had accepted a bid from Tottenham for both players for 38mil euro as both want to leave and that he promised to reinvest the money into the squad.

That said, it's not official yet neither has agreed terms.

Onyekachi Apam (Nice) ---> Rennes
Georges Mandjeck (Kaiserslautern) ---> Rennes
Johann Carrasso (Montpellier) ---> Rennes
Victor-Hugo Montano (Montpellier) ---> Rennes

So, Di Maria's deal is finally done. He's a Real Madrid player.

25M € + 5M € matches played + 6M € performance

We'll miss him, I'm certain he'll be one of the best in the world...Just hope Mourinho doesn't turn him into a robot.

How does the 'matches' and performance thing work? No details?

After how many matches played, does Benfica get 5 more mil? And the performance bit is individual or team performing well in CL/League?

I would like to know the details but I suppose they don't fully reveal them, do they?

Johann Carrasso (Montpellier) ---> Rennes

Is that Cedric's brother or something?

Tottenham have released a statement saying that Zamparini's comments are false and they have not made any bid.

That Zamparini guy sure as hell is quite a character...
I'm a bit of a fan of both Spurs and Palermo...i had mixed feelings when i first saw thore messages.
Kjaer would be very good for Spurs (their defense is their weakest point IMO). I was not that sure about Cavani. He's a very good player, but Spurs need a goal scorer. I'm not sure if Defoe can deliver the goods for longer periods and in different competitions.

The problem is that Palermo also need Kjaer more than Cavani...maybe it's good that this proved to be a false rumour.

Same questions Benfica fans are making ;) It makes the difference between a great deal or an acceptable one. If we get to receive the 11 millions in 2 years or so, I think it was fair deal.
