If he goes to them Toons,i cant see him as a first choice striker either, same situation at United for him...if only he had Ole's mentality, any manager's dream player to have.

Leeds aren't underdogs or lost cases, people don't like them because they're scum! Well, that's for me anyway .gerd said:If i read this, i'm beginning to love them more and more...I'm fond of lost cases, underdogs and outcasts....
Well, let's hope they get promotion and the year after: Champions (hahahahahahahahaha)
Completely off-topic but i don't know how to ask this otherwise and reading an answer (you will understand why): How come that can't open threads consisting of one page...Well i can open them but then i have a message along the line of: "this topic doesn't exist"

Stacked, excellent players leaving, and a waste of money. Thats what i imagined.
i agree with you also, i want to see duff, parker and cole play week in week out but the only way its going to stop is when players start realising whats happeningSOUTHBRONX 10 said:i agree with you super mick, but they were able to do so because they brought in new players to complement the existing squad. Bringing in Roberto Carlos is going to cause problems with the development of bridges. Joaquin is a smart buy because there is a lack of quality on the right. i think the biggest issue is the effect of chelsea on the entire league. man u and arsenal will be fine, but in the long run having the likes of cole, duff, bridges etc... sitting on the bench weakens the league when they could be starring for other clubs. the only club to win with this formula was real madrid but they already had a foundation of 7 to 8 players in place.

Ghazi (Chicago, IL): Seems funny that all the venom for Real Madrid's failings seem to fall at Beckham's feet, when Raul, Zidane and others have played so poorly. Your opinions on the causes of the demise, and your opinion on Becks' new role in the middle of the field. . . . we all know he's no Makelele, and that Makelele's retention would have made a difference. PEACE
Tommy Smyth: Real Madrid ended up with many problems this year. Basically, their biggest problem was at the back. They have too many defenders who want to go forward and forget that their main job is to do some defending. I had an interview with David Beckham last week in Madrid, and he indicated to me that he wasn't all that happy with his new role as more-or-less a defensive mid-fielder, rather than an attacking midfielder. He also indcated to me that he would like to get forward much more often but was intent on playing the role that his coach required from him. As for so much venom going Beckham's way, I think it's a case of paying the price for having such a high profile. Beck turned out to be a very friendly and very cooperative young man. He seemed to me to be very happy at Real Madrid and indicated that he would like to play there for a few years. He also indicated that he has a very deep respect for the U.S. and for the lifestyles in the U.S. He said he would not mind at all, at some point in his career, playing in the U.S. I think that Real has bought a quality defender in Samuel, that they are starting to address one of their big problems. I am sure you are going to see more changes one of those may be that Figo may be on his way out.
Tommy Smyth: In fact, Cold Pizza on ESPN2 Thursday morning will carry some of the Beckham interview. Tune in!

You don't want Mido Stuart, he's big trouble off the pitch. He's had difficulties in every club he has been and imho he's not better than Bellamy (as a "long range" fan of Newcastle i wonder what happened to Bellamy, i found him excellent).
