He's a definite chancer, he's saying the Celtic and Bolton offers are almost the same, and he is no rush to decide unless one should offer him some more.

Smith is a wanker because he's forever giving it this 'loyal' crap but freely admits he will not be as loyal as to stay and help them back up, Nationwide football is beneath him. However, once others have done the hard work to get them back to the league he helped get them relegated from, he'll come back and collect his big wage and be a hero again.

Hate Leeds anyway, but Smith is a twat.

Off topic, but you started it Classic, could you elaborate why you hate Leeds...

And about Smith (who i don't particularly like or dislike). Why should he stay at Leeds when he can play in the EPL??? What would you do in his place...i don't think you would stay.
Things like that happen all the time when clubs get relegated: they loose their best players.
 
Smith has got every right, he stayed at leeds whilst the club sold everyone else, worked under god knows how many different managers.

He's not gonna do his England chances any good in Div 1.
 
if hes that loyal why not stay until the january transfer window! then he can give it a good go without damaging his international career and then if it was clear that leeds would not be promoted then leave?

Coz he'll be wasting a season. If he moves in January then he'll take a month to bed in at a new club and by then the season is almost over. Good on him moving on.

Oh and im with Classic - i also hate leeds :D
 
why would he waste a season hed still be eligible for the latter rounds of the Champs league he wouldnt damage his england place and hed be showing great loyalty too the club he allegdly "loves".

Everyone hates leeds apart from leeds fans dont they?
 
I don't see anything wrong with leaving a relegated club, but I can't believe he's being made out to be this 'true fan' type person. I don't care what you say, a player who was a true fan would not leave the club when they got relegated, they would in fact be determined to stay and get them promoted. The bit that tops it off is how he wants to come back if they get back up, so he's only a local lad/hero when they're in the Premiership?

if i were him i wouldn't play in div one either. so good luck to him if he goes to any other team.

i'd like to see him at utd but i cant see it happening
