Great buy. I think he'll do well there.

How come Fiorentina didn't get Barzagli? I've heard he's off to Wolfsburg :SS

I think its confirmed on cruzeiro website.

Claudia, do you have a source for the transfers? I cant see a site confirming the transfers.

Ciprian Tătăruşanu (Steaua Bucureşti) -> Gloria Bistriţa (1 year loan)

I can certify his first name is Amine and not el Amine and I know the player for about 6 years so please believe me . it's also a matter of logic . to make a short explanation "el" in arabic is just the same as "el" in spanish (example : el nino). it's the same as "the" in english or "le" in french . so you can have familly names with "le" like "le crom" or "le tallec" but you don't have first names like "le jean".
Rbati means citizen of Rabat wich is the capital of morocco and Erbati is what "el"+"rbati" becomes to make it easy to prononciate . it's the same rule for "echouafni" or "essabr" . amine is a very comon first name in morocco and in many arab countries and it means "trustworthy".
that's the story and to say something about the player I think it's a good recruit for Marseille .
Thanks for the explanation mate, I believe you, so he's Amine Erbati :)).

Glavisted, can you provide your source for your transfers? I update a forum post on another forum but I can't find any news articles on the net about 50% of the players you mention. I would be very grateful.

Hugo Broos (ex-Genk choach) -> F.C. Sporting Vaslui

He's a good player..He came from Benfica youth team and this year had a very good season. He was signed in December by Malaga (who were already in a very goog position for being promoted) but he couldn't play because of some legal problems (I think) so he returned to Estrela da Amadora. He was being followed with great interest by some bigger teams, even Benfica was mentioned to be interested in him. He's a center midfielder, a talented box-to-box... But I haven't seen him playing many times. Maybe some other portuguese can tell you more. Anyway, don't worry, it should be a good signing. People talked about him over here.
