Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

I haven't been playing the GTA series much but what effects do the number of times you die and get caugh have on the game? Would it matter if I keep dying?

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

How do i modify street racers? Ive got the wang car place and i have unlocked the street mod thing, but iskipped thew movie sequence by accident. Can anyone tell me how i mod the cars, ive tried taking the cars from the sales rom into the mechanic bit under neath it but the garage door doesnt open!?

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

the only real drawback on dieing or being arrested is that you lose your weapons and like $100 . The weapons being the downer :/ . you can die or be busted as many times as you want

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

I've played this game for two solid days and I still haven't ventured 30% of Los Santos yet...nevermind the rest of the map.

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

Yeah, it's a Good Game, Enjoying It So Far, But Can't Help But Feel That The Game Will Look Better When The Xbox Version Is Released!!!!

3) Whats is the importance of that ''bitch'' Denise :)

Thats for now, anyone who wants to answer be my guest :)

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

Got this game this morning. It's very good, but hopefully an Xbox version will come out soon. PS2 graphics stink compared to GTA 3 and VC on the Xbox. Still a great game nonetheless. :)

It will be probably as shit on Xbox because Rockstar will most likely make a direct port.

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

this game is great. its so big. i swam to san fierro but the police goes up to 4* as soon as you reach and eventually they killed me. does anybody know when you get to go to the next island, what set of missions. the graphics on the humans is still piss poor but they get away with it.

They didn't make a direct port for GTA 3 and VC. Both of those games had better graphics than their PS2 counter parts. The character models were upgraded, better lighting, better car models, better reflections on the cars, better weather effects, better draw distance, better frame rates etc etc. If they do the same for San Andreas I'd buy it straight away..

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

I hate the last mission. I hate it with a fervent passion.

***SPOILERS****

ON THE RAILS SHOOTING IS NOT THE WAY TO END THE GAME. I HATE ON THE RAIL SHOOTING

*****SPOILER END*****

Otherwise, superb game.

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

It's taken me a while to get into the game but it is really really good. The only thing I am slightly dissapointed about is the amount of fog in the game, it's unreal. I got in plan and you can't really see anything, even when flying quite low. I don't understand how they claimed the draw distance has been increased x2 and in the country x4. Maybe when I unlock those areas and explore them properly it will change.

Great game though.

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

After 2 and-a-bit days of solid play it's simply the most awesome game I've ever played, the country, desert and Venturas being the highlights. I agree with reactor about the draw distance is still a bit dodgy and for me the soundtrack is nowhere near as good as VC, a station's set seems to last about 30mins!! Whats with that?!?

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

does some1 know if the pal-version runs smoother than the ntsc-version?

in the ntsc-version there are slightly "slowdowns".

but they dont bother me oin this GREAT game ...

cheers

Re: Official GTA: San Andreas Thread - DVD5 Format

If you have unlocked the countryside , i guess you could use the truckers mission place , he claims if you wanna drop off things go to him . dunno though :s
